Lets not gloat. Anyone that puts money into our sport should get support.

Tbh they were digging into after the meeting, looked more like a crater. Maybe they were just digging for oil

As a neutral i would like to say you are utter vermin . I can take it that you do not give two hoots about the injured wolves riders and find it a Laugh just to back up your stupid vendetta reported you utter scum bag..

Mr Shovlar would make a wonderful politician, fantastic at ignoring and denying negative issues and peddling propaganda to deflect attention. Definitely a missed vocation

lol comedy gold. Ask Jason Doyle where the hole was im sure he can point it straight out to you. All the Poole fans have spoke about the hole appearing and the remedial work carried out.............................everyone except you shock horror. Where is your detailed match report as well? We got a full blown rider by rider one when Poole beat a very weakened Somerset team.........................oh yes silly me you got beat so the report goes out the window.............

That's the difference between Shovlar's world and the world the rest of us live in.

No Sam didn't design it. Well, he did have input in the first place but then went back home for a wedding (I think) and while he was away David Hemsley went his own way and carried on with the track how he wanted it. Result ~ poor processional racing for years.

No hole, you say. I have seen the video of heat 15 on the speedwaygb website. JD makes a reasonable gate from 2 hits something, straightens up and nearly collects Harris on his way towards the fence. Was it your wallet, Steve?

With Newcastle still to visit in league and cup, might be a good idea to run that as a double header, should be an easy 3 points and next round of the cup. And only 1 travel.

There definitely was a hole! Went to look at it after the meeting.

How the hell did Wolves win that? Should have been a cake walk for Belle Vue. Whoever finishes top will be heading straight to Manchester in the semis first leg.

It has taken a little while finding and translating the relevant rule- but an apology might be necessary for the Tarnow management as Henry is right and heat 15 has to be the 2 top scorers(or a choice of 2 if more than 2 are tied). Obviously it might have been tactically better for Tarnow to be 6 down after 13 rather than 4. I myself wasn`t sure and there are additional rules about reserves use in 14 and 15 etc. https://speedwayekstraliga.pl/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Regulamin-DMP-2018.pdf

I agree re Morris, very lucky to get a second bite of the cherry. I note you are somewhat scathing of the Swindon track. Now I’m not going to defend the Swindon track, I can’t. There was minimal passing, it was decided by 1 & 3 and said as much, however, I have just read your report from this morning’s match v Somerset. It would appear, from your report, that the racing was top notch as I can find absolutely no mention of the track conditions at all within your missive. However, several attendees, Paddy The Rebel said it was ‘very poor’, Lisa Collette ‘dusty’ and poole keith talked about ‘the holes’ in the track. It would therefore seem there’s a hole in that particular report Steve. I have no argument with what you have said re Swindon but at least be equally scathing of your own track if that is the case.

Maybe this year with the GP series all over by early October- the FIM could have spiced things up with the challenge in October featuring the bottom 7 against 9 others to see who qualified in 2019

The quality of the racing would have graced any tv screens, some real belting stuff and an important 3 pts. The Hume injury took the buzz out of the occasion. 're the track. In general it's the best it's been, and the racing only backs that up. But for some reason a hole keeps appearing on bend 4 after 10 or so heats. I assume it's a hangover from the poor shale problem clubs faced earlier in the season. Spoke to Leon for the first time tonight, and what a thoroughly pleasant and mature young man, his mechanical problems he suffered in his first ride was in fact a broken saddle bracket so no surprise he was struggling. With the top 4 the brummies have and walker looking far better, you are one ringer 3 pointer away from being unbeatable imo. On the terraces the brummies fans appreciated the Kent supporters initial reaction to Daynons fall, who were shouting to the track staff and first aiders not to touch him or the bike so he could push home for the point. Unfortunately as it panned out this was not possible, it was nice of Danyons dad? who came back round and gave us a quick update on his condition. On a positive note an amazing £1122.90 was collected on the evening by both sets of riders for the annual Ben fund collection.

You are mad if you think anyone is going to believe that you aren't RR. The worrying thing for me is that I genuinely believe you don't think you are him. Bellego banged a few in tonight so didn't think you would show up on here.

Just seen heat 15 on Twitter. Doyley hit that hole between turns 1 and 2 again. He hardly just stopped for no reason! All that cash Ford has spent on the track and it's still there. Must be the same people sorting that out that are building Tottenham's new ground!

You're the first one to jump on someone if they make an error! The "bleedin" difference is that 1230pm isn't in the morning. End of.

Very serious injuries, but if there's a consolation he doesn't seem to have Head or Spinal injuries which is always a worry when you hear of such horror crashes.Dan is a superb talent and very level headed hope he makes a good recovery and only returns when 100% which I'm sur he will with the people behind him.

I think you misunderstood me, I would like to see every team run a junior side as part of second half racing, not as a separate team on a different night. These juniors would be part of the NJL, MDL, SJL set up, rather than National League. It would be set up for riders starting off in the sport and on 125, 250 and 500cc, a stepping stone towards the National League. I realise in the past many clubs have tried to run second teams in the National League and yes, it is very tough financially. Only clubs who are lucky enough to own their stadiums can really justify it, which is a shame, because I still think in the long run, it is the best way to establish riders in the sport.

I would like to see every team run a junior team and have fixtures every week. Every team should enter into the NJL, MDL or SJL, even if it means adopting teams like Reading, Weymouth etc. This gives younger riders much more track time and lets them develop quicker. Would probably encourage more youngsters into the sport if they knew they were guaranteed more track time as well and would be a natural stepping stone into the National League.

Tom Bacon now averages more than Simon Lambert and is closing on Emil Grondal quickly. It looks like he'll just into the main body

Also all four riders line up and not allowed on track till the pits Green light is shown... No drip feeding... All come out together and have two mins to make their way to the tapes.. Every race so far I have seen has had 'tapes up' (at the very latest) just seconds over two mins from the Green light, with the vast majority starting well under 2 mins from it... It all looks very professional.....
