What a great way to end the season two away wins just a shame we fell short.Totally surpassed my expectations so well done to all concerned at Berwick Speedway, think now we should have a large attendance at the final meeting to show our gratitude roll on next year.

Can somebody please shut Shovlar up!! How can one man be so utterly clueless about the rules,........... Nothing but a troll stirring at every opportunity. Funny how the only Poole fans moaning are him, Lisa and Starman........we just need Gater1 or MFF for the complete set

id have fancied our chances against anyone a few weeks back with ty you just don't know what the score is and without dan we are weaker Glasgow with cookie are a different team and Peterborough are stronger using well selected guests id agree lakeside look weaker than they did a short time back

What would make this event far more interesting is if the organisers arranged with BSI for the winner to get a GP wildcard. It would raise the status of the event, attract better riders and place the event in a position behind the GP series, rather than it is now which is just a hash up.

Broc Nicol was ruled out under the 8 day rule. Our choice of guests did quite nicely though

Highs - The best action at Ashfield in years, the new track shape is fantastic and some remedial work on the base over the Winter should make it even better. - The test match with Tai Woffinden. Meeting itself fell flat but the build up and pre meeting atmosphere were superb. - The World Under 21 Team Championship lots of new talent to watch and keep tabs on. Jan Kvech was a new one to me with Lidsey as impressive. - Tuesday feared the worst got the best! Lows - - Stewart Dickson cutting ties with the Tigers. A massive figure at the club who I always enjoyed listening to. - Richie Worrall for similar reasons to Stewart, to see him struggling on a track he previously bossed at times was baffling. - Lewi Kerr getting another huge injury. Lovely guy deserves better. Overall This has been my favourite season for a while purely because I am watching some superb speedway.

If we had Bewley and everyone 100% I'm certain we could run anyone for their money out of the other 3. It'll be interesting to see how we go as it's so wide open, personally, I think it's Glasgow's to lose from what I've seen as of late but never say never and every day is different in the land of Speedway

I know there’s always a lot of competition between ourselves and the Bandits but I’m pleased for both teams doing so well when everyone had written both off at the start of the season

A strange sequence of events, finish top but not before the cut off, finish top and not win the League, finish second and possibly win the League.

Workington can still finish top by winning their final two matches. It would be too late to choose your play-off opponents, but will still go down in the league table in the record books.

The thing is we live in different times now when everything is down to money. I was lucky being an Ipswich supporter to have been able to regularly watch the likes of Thomas Gollob, Tony Rickardsson, Denis Sigalas, Peter Moore etc. But Speedway is no different from other forms of entertainment, As a youngster I regularly went to my local theatre and was able to watch a music show with the likes of Cliff Richard, Cilla Black, Tom Jones all on the same bill. I once saw the Beatles and Roy Orbison in the SAME show just for a few pounds, now it costs a fortune to see an ageing rockstar (Rod Stewart) at Portman Road. Comedians like Dave Allen, Des O Connor, Harry Worth used to appear just as comperes, now to see Michael McIntyre I need to take out a mortgage and have to go to the O2 and watch him on a large TV screen. The days of being able to see the stars at our local track will never return, so sadly No, I don' t think it is any longer viable.

Great way to end the season for a team that was supposed to finish last.

As were Sayfutdinov, Lindback,Hampel etc.....For a wild card to get third was impressive!!!

Yes I got it wrong the stand in reserves done a lot more than I ever thought they would so a big well done to them and great performances from BWD , Grondal, Barker and MPT but Ostergaard is a big concern for me as I don't believe he's fit and his equipment is no up to it either and could cost us dearly if he carries on like he's done since returning from a serious injury

I went to the very first one and also last night and over 100 in between. Whilst it wasn't my local track with the demise of Hackney, Wimbledon, Reading, Oxford and Coventry I found myself making more visits, often battling with the M25 en route. As I was leaving last night I thought I would try to come up with five Speedway memories so here goes:- 1) The very first meeting back in 1984 an individual won by Bob Garrad. 2) The Lee Richardson memorial meeting in 2012 won by Darcy Ward. 3) Bjarne Pedersen scoring 22 and a bonus although it was a paid maximum (due to one ride being 4 and a bonus). 4) The Glasgow Cup Finals of 1991 especially the first one that ended 90 v 90! 5) England 54 v 54 USA in 1994. I'm sure I'll also remember much of last night especially seeing so many fans walking the track at the end! Farewell Arena Essex/Lakeside!

Definitely in the Worlds Top Ten given he performs so consistently at the highest level... And has done so for a decent length of time.. Would bring something to the GP's no doubt..

I am pretty sure that I cannot be the only one who had noticed the quite superb irony that the three tracks treated so shamefully as regards race nights have all made the play offs
