Perks, Mountain; Thomas ; Morley; Bowtell ; Brennan ; Wood - a great advertisement for the National Development League and far better for both sides to promote British talent (Perks raised in Oz I know). Their battles will likely influence result more than heat leaders.

The stage that the promotion sets for today’s speedway matches at Poole is a shambles. The days of great racing where you would leave the stadium with “your head on fire” are long gone. The track is a mess (and has been for a number of years) and the racing is bordering on non existent and boring. Not sure I can put up with this for much longer!!

I can`t get hold of Ghostie- hope you are ok, so i will start the Swedish thread for this season. With there being 9 teams in the league in 2019 there are 5 matches most weeks spread over Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Tuesday May 7th Piraterna v Smederna Masarna v Indianerna Lejonen v Rospiggarna Vastervik v Vetlanda Thursday May 9th Dackarna v Smederna I will post line-ups for the Tuesday matches on Sunday evening and the Thursday match on Tuesday evening The best TV viewers can hope for in week 1 is delayed coverage on Freesports at 10.15 pm on Thursday- all the TV matches this season are on Thursday`s. Nothing yet on any Polish TV channels for Thursday

Crossroads Baggy ? Seems to me it’s a one way street leading to the Cliff Edge.

Eastbourne website started building up this match on Monday this week with an interview with Scott Nicholls.

Not really - they know the FIM Saturday dates and the possibility of rain- offs yet still schedule a number of there rounds on these dates whereas they leave other Sunday’s blank- like Easter Sunday !!

Fair play Gladiators i definitely got that wrong. Campos still has it, a delight to see Wilson rolling back the years with a fine display and expected Stoneman to go very well but still not that well. IOW had the power scoring reserves running out 12-4 winners and Danno Verge getting over his ave and still lose. Morley can have an off night but not many with the way the team is built whilst a night on for Widman would be a plus. Finally best wishes to Jamie Bursill hope it was a precaution and nothing serious.

60 plus has to be the target tonight. A weak Diamonds team.

    It's a pain in the backside with Speedway Star not publishing the times this year, but here is what you want, in heat order. 58.81; 59.53; 59.79; 58.47; 58.50; 58.31; 59.22; 60.16; 59.16; 59.25; 58.88; 58.97; 59.87; 59.16 and 59.25

NO , its because i like to give everyone a chance . i have a different outlook to what you have . fans expect an awful lot from other humans . its easy to pay your £16 or so and be the best supporter in the crowd. riding a bike and risking it all is a thing i would not like to do . how about you . are you a dare devil . can you eat wholemeal bread without butter on ? i bet you dunk biscuits in tea cos they are too hard to take on without being softened up first .give riders a chance . workington did with young Kyle Bickley in 18 and its now Glasgow who are getting the benefit from that .OH , to be perfect .

Belle Vue have never brought a coach to Poole in decades. Rob B used to organise a mini bus but since he got married that now doesn’t seem to happen. Didn’t see a single BV fan there tonight. But guess they know they were in for a spanking.

If no-one replies about Eastbourne you'll probably be able to find out tomorrow. You used to be able to take them as we have been but that was many years ago when Coventry won 46-45. That result is stuck in my memory for some reason.......or was it 45-44. You can add Newcastle and Wolverhampton to the No list.

Two brand new ones exactly a year ago. He's been flying since. Not necessarily dodgy but brand new. Like he said he felt the difference and after a couple of good performances his confidence sky rocketed. Good for him, he's been struggling or almost making it for 15 years now.

Couple more of the good ones from him in Manchester and we’ll beat the brits in the last chance heat!

IT is my understanding that coverage of all practice sessions at 2019 SGPs will be screened via YouTube... certainly both Nigel Pearson and Kelvin Tatum will be in attendance.

Could be worse , It could be "procession" speedway

Why would anyone travel 4 hours each way on a week night when they know they are going to the worst track in the PL. It must have been bad again if even you said it was rubbish last night. Was thinking about coming down to 4 point road on Bank Holiday Monday but doesn't sound like it will be worth the hassle.

The story of speedway across the UK if it were ever looked at objectively from the outside. It's beyond rare for me to go home after a match at King's Lynn with " my head on fire" with excitement. Perhaps when Robert Lambert first rode for the Young Stars and I still talk about those matches. Yes, the odd good race since but whole exciting matches - No! FTG rules the roost and hence existing fans continue to melt away and new fans are truly rarer than hen's teeth. The KL tracks looks good but provides little or no racing nowadays. So, yes, "bordering on non-existent and boring" is a good description when talked about with no spin. Me too. Not sure I can put up with it for much longer and am thus on the verge of joining the ranks of ex-fans in the stadium. Still love the GPs on TV and what I can see of Polish racing ( on YouTube ).

Nice one lewy remember we are the worst team in the league some people said for a team what’s supposedly not very good ,a home win against Kent ,and away win minus Richie Andrews against a team with Morley and wood in it can’t be bad can it please all you experts keep writing us off as we seem to be doing rather well at the moment when you do.

Current league table looks good (early days yet I know). Robins look the strongest team, as they are currently holding everyone else up at the bottom.....

Well all you experts got that wrong

If they had replaced Cook properly with the points available before May 1st it would have showed some positive intent. As things stand i fancy Boro will possibly be competing with Lynn and Ippo for the wooden spoon...

Ive known Anders since he could hardly sit on a bike, from his early days at Weymouth. Over the last 2 weeks, Ive watched him ride at Plymouth,Kent, Berwick and Somerset. Good performances everywhere except Berwick, where most struggled anyway. By far his best was at Somerset.Always in the mix doing a great job at reserve. Pleased for him and enjoyed chatting with his grandparents too. I agree that Rebels should stick with the reserves all season. They will only get better.
