No they havnt actually - it’s been bubbling under the surface since the winter shenanigans - it’s just there are more fans voicing their frustrations now. You have a solid team and are very fortunate to still have your original promoter - if we had the same I feel things would be different.

My guess as to what'll happen...

As per usual you are spouting tripe. Robert Lambert is having a tough time in all leagues at the moment and needs our support, not people like you accusing him of a lack of application. The lad is riding his backside off for little reward at the moment, it’s happened to every sportsman who ever lived at one time or another.

I was appalled to learn of some disgusting behaviour of a group of speedway photographers against a 17yr old kid. At Glasgow we have a young man learning his trade and producing some fantastic stuff. He has been subject to an appalling bullying campaign by jealous photographers who are subjecting him to a hate campaign. They were recently busted by someone who screen shotted their WhatsApp group. The guys in question are the Leicester photographer, the Edinburgh photographer and 2 from Belle Vue. I appalled to say that 2 from Glasgow are also involved. i understand that this is being investigated by the BSPA. Personally I will no longer be purchasing any pictures from these guys until I see a public apology. i suggest you do too.

That’s a good idea- my question would be do Gorzow and Zielona Gora like each other. Do Torun and Grudziadz like each other lol

Not sure I agree with this statement? I think it's the promoters using common sense and not wasting money by putting on an expensive farce ? (No fans turning up due to a very weakened team) If they were thinking of quitting, then why make 2 (positive)team changes so early in the season?

We won't be able to get through the door soon. That carpet will be nearer the celing than the floor!

This has all the hallmarks of a promotion losing money and looking to quit. Had this with my team in 2018.

Guys, you’re peeing in the wind if you think the SCB are going to do anything at all about this. They publicly issued a statement that they were going to make a full investigation into the failure of Mildenhall to get a team for the season ending final league match at Eastbourne last year, which resulted in a call off 24 hrs before the event and caused a fair bit of annoyance to fans, it being the last meeting of the season. Have we had any report on their “full investigation” ? No. I no longer have any faith in the statements from the speedway authorities.

Yeah Lindgren struggled from the back clocking up 10+ home averages whilst missing the gate in half his races. You couldn't have chosen a worse example.

EXACTLY! We then have to hear about unhappy so called supporters who want the management/promotion punished for an obvious business decision? We're already in a financially difficult situation with low attendances and rising costs etc....so why try and put another nail in the future of another speedway club??? Beggars belief! The decision to postpone the meeting didn't affect anyone........everybody had advanced notice? It's the so called vigilante supporters who will close another track down, not the 'common sense' of a benevolent promotional speedway operation! Call yourself speedway fans ??? maybe be just an envious Coventry supporter ???

Watched that interview and what a contrast with my Club Birmingham, we did after all both come up from NL, and from my NL days I think similar crowds around 600 - 700. Our crowds have gone down I feel, Eastbourne's based on Cooks comments have near doubled - why?? how?? and what has transformed one Club not the other?? Everything Eastbourne have done since Cook and Jordan took over is upbeat, positive and backed by some commercial flair it seems. They have "had a go" Everything Birmingham have done seems to be half hearted, half baked and "make do". We definitely miss Lee Kilby not being full time on our Commercial side. "we are stagnating" You tend to get out of anything what you put in and fair play to Eastbourne, I can only hope that the Masons find someone to do the Commercial side at Birmingham in a similar style to Eastbourne, a bit of effort goes a long way

He’s a good egg is Chris. Ask him a question and more often than not he’ll give you a reply. Pity more don’t do the same.

Because back in the day world final start numbers were pre allocated for the semi final stage ie continental final, inter CF so that riders knew for instance that the Icf winner would ride at 6 runner-up 12 (made up to illistrate the point)

Impressive CV - sure he would be welcomed back with open arms.

Mick Horton slipped through the net several times. Killed Peterborough twice mildenhall once and Coventry once. Team manager at Oxford whilst his brother killed that club.

On arriving Monday evening to a local derby with Ipswich I was surprised how empty the Car Park was and even more shocked to not see any queues at the turnstiles - that’s what I usually judge it on as sitting in the grandstand makes it difficult to tell.

I'm sure they will do what they used to do when on TV,,,,, nothing. It will look like the old days of one man and his dog. I think the crowd will be lower tomorrow to,,, so if it was my club I would be doing a turn up Thursday to get a voucher/match ticket,, and get in Monday for half price or tenner on the showing of that ticket. Add to that I would also be giving out free noise making implements to be used on Monday

I've attended many meetings at Wolves over many years. It can provide good racing. Passing on the outside does happen but the overwhelming number of passes occur on the inside coming out of bends 2 and 4. The track is prepared to provide extra grip coming out of those bends. Understandably, the home riders become more familiar with the track and can often be seen taking advantage of those lines, whereas away riders can often be seen taking too wide a line or drifting too wide. Obviously, there are track specialists who don't ride for Wolves, who know exactly how to ride the track and top riders who can quickly adapt to most tracks. However, many riders today have relatively little consistent experience of racing on tight technical tracks and 2 or 3 visits to Wolves each year doesn't give them sufficient opportunity to master it. Time and time again I have watched decent riders lose out to Wolves riders taking advantage of the grip coming out of the bends but seemingly unable to adapt to take advantage of it themselves. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with the track or the way it is prepared. Every team tries to create a track that gives home advantage but it is less apparent and advantageous for those tracks that are within the more usual parameters for size and shape. Wolverhampton has always been a track I enjoy visiting because of the racing but I concur with others, that it is no longer prepared as it was in the Doc Bridgett days and that the level of entertainment has suffered as a consequence.

To be fair to Riss he has done well this season so far. My concerns in the team so far this season are actually the 2 that done ok in this meeting Kerr and Proctor. But as a team we aren't doing to bad so no panic to change things at the minute in my opinion.

Shows how often I go there. Last time it was poolepirates.co they should have an automatic re-direct on that domain name.

new neighbours are jast like neighbours at home . you have to start as you mean to go on , our previous next door neighbours whined about every single thing until in the end we were almost afraid to go out to the dustbin and let the lid down , when the new ones moved in ,we started as we meant to go on , after about 3 days they knocked on the door moaning about me mowing the lawn at 7.30pm . I didn't even question the problem .just said .go forth and multiply but in not so many words , having been put firmly in their place ,we have heard no more complaints from them . start pandering to moaners at your peril .
