Bit harsh. TNT suffered a stroke earlier this year and was quite ill for some time. He is better now but as anyone who has either experienced or knows someone who has suffered a stroke, it's effects live on. We didn't always agree (then again we often did) but he is a genuinely nice person to know and a long term keen speedway fan.

Thank you Richard for your words of support. The handicap and the gate change rules only apply to the NT competition, not the league, and were agreed by all three participating clubs as a way of creating something a little different. No rider will be left out of his/her nominated race, it is not a tactical substitution but a means of trying to do things differently. As you may know the IOW have held handicap races for a number of years and this season we tried 6 riders in the final for the first time so we keep innovating. Some things work and some don't but unless you try, you will never know.

Hate to say it but our top league will miss Poole , and i hope they do well and maybe get more stability and rejoin again in 2021.

Yes Steve, we know you said "Riders generally do improve when they move away from Poole" Definition of generally "in most cases; usually." You then go on to admit you don't actually know. So what can be established is... 1: You don't understand the English language. 2: You don't even know if what you have been banging on about is actually correct.

He's not spicing up your league again - as you are in the Championship

Have you ever known Skidder criticise the Poole promotion?

Please don't stoop to his level of personal insults!! He clearly has some sort of big bag of King Edwards on his shoulder about me, other Poole fans and all things to do with Poole!!

I have asked Wroclaw on Facebook(in English) and as one would expect from a Polish Speedway club, a really quick answer(in English) " not sooner than January" (i am assuming at the earliest)

I spoke to him once at Swindon and he autographed both my lads books and was a really nice bloke. He was rushing off to another meeting as well but the funny thing was i know they had there little skirmish but Greg Hancock was exactly the same a really nice guy time to speak and had real time for the supporters.

That's going to be hard when the Devils will be racing on a Friday night. It will be rare that Glasgow are not at home if Monarchs ain't. A Saturday afternoon outwith the football season might attract fans from both. It would also be better for the visiting teams, who may well contain schoolboys. But no doubt planning restriction mean that's not an option anymore.

Why don't you do one McCaffery you knob head

All you had to do was clarify you meant 'some' riders.. debate over. You're right then. But that would mean admitting you made a mistake in your opening post.....

Top 4 for me looks like.....redcar,leicester,glagow and poole (bound to be strong). But I also think Kent will surprise a lot of people.

Not bad for a gating tart who can’t pass

Why would any Promoter trust Wood to turn up after he let IOW down so badly last year and had knock on effect on his CL Club. Len wouldn't stand for that kind of nonsense and probably far more trustworthy alternatives. You can't score double points sat at home after all.

I don't see it as defending the rider you detest, more pointing out what a ridiculous post you are replying to.

Fellow poole fans. We race in the championship now. This is the wrong thread. Good luck to all 7 premiership sides.

Nothing odd about Eastbourne signing Tom Brennan...why ditch a rider who has a big future, especially when he has been nurtured at Arlington. Eastbourne are developing youngsters for the future? You have to remember this is the Championship where it is not the norm to fly riders in from all parts of Europe, as the Premiership does.

This is what people don’t get about Lynn signing Proctor. Don’t get me wrong he could be a poor signing but just because he had a bad 2019 doesn’t mean he won’t be a good reserve this coming season.

I let live sport get a head start and then start watching after about 15 minutes. Then I can just f/f the ads. At one time ITV was allowed six minutes of ads per hour. Now a one hour programme on a commercial channel indeed is about 40-45 of actual programme with the rest ads and programme promos. When it comes to sport channels it's sheer greed to sell advertising on top of charging viewers extortionate monthly fees.
