So Newcastle have applied to run in this years NT, i suspect it's a test to see if running in the NL is viable. Would give IoW Mildo and Plymouth an extra home meeting to enjoy.

NDL tracks need to be on the slick side because of the relative inexperience of those competing. CL riders can handle less slick tracks but doubt there are many, if any, who could race on old-fashioned 'deep' on the modern bikes.

Should enter the CL team.. might have a chance

Doyle is a much stronger number 1 than Kurtz. Absolutely nothing between Wright/Killer and Batch/Jensen. In fact Jensen will struggle to keep that average. Below that BV are much stronger. 2 top teams whichever way it’s dressed and will be cut free from the rest of the league.

Rebel1, you must be part of the track staff to have such knowledge. Would be good to have your insider's view of things like track prep and how things run behind the scenes. Most of us are curious about such things.

What Osbourne & other developers should do ................ be accountable & rebuild or re-site new stadia before any houses are built as per the planning procedure. They should never have been allowed to build houses before the speedway & stock cars were sorted.

Developers are surely less of a threat than waning interest among what few supporters the sport still has.

Not convinced Manzares will ever make it big in the sport and feel would struggle just as he did some years ago. Maybe should stay with the change of career he embarked on. Think there are better options even at this stage.

Went off on an internet search and have spent the last hour reminicisng about the good old days on the Wolfcry forum What was the name of the mag the guys used to do?
