Maybe not but my point still stands, the overall cost increase would not be excessive, particularly if the extra rides are replacing a 1-5 rider and not the other reserve.

People saying he's not a good manager. Why not give the bloke a chance or even more see how the team performs because if they are not good then who will the fans turn on Grant and the rest of the people involved ?as Jason wasn't there when the new team was picked.

It's not baffling at all, it's completely natural to develop an affinity with the team you pay to watch every week.

Theo came to Berwick in 2018 halfway through the season, and thanks to his performances Berwick ended up 5th just missing out on playoffs by 1 point. Replacing Danny was never going to be easy as Danny was a one-off great rider, character, showman. Hopefully, Theo will do a good job and Scunthorpe have a good season.

Reading Jason Pipe's comments on Newcastle's team he thinks Claus Vissing can put a point and a half on his 8.43 ave and James Wright can put at least 3 points on his 4.00 ave! Diamonds could challenge for play-offs of those predictions come true!

Can't expect Jason to he successful this year as he has the weakest team in the league!

I have followed the Stars the whole length and breath of this country. I cant think of a track I haven't visited during the countless years I've supported this wonderful sport. Too right, once I was the most ardent of Stars fans and would argue the point to the end, but as time goes bye you see life differently. Going to speedway matches was once the be all of everything, it dictated your moods, it define the whole week. It was the catalyst of your whole being. How sad was I , that I allowed it to govern my life for so long. My love for fast motor sport is as evident as ever, but now realise it has to be put into prospective. Now I see the sport as it really is and understand the lack of importance is a reflection of how the world see it. Gone are the days when it challenged Football in relation to supporting numbers, Fans stay at home now, it is fast disappearing because costs haven't been controlled. Probably the bikes are now faster, the heats are quicker, and the riders are better, but the race meetings are not like they use to be. The atmosphere has gone, the excitement is missing the crowds have all but gone . So if it is possible to go to a variety of venues to get my dose of yesteryear, then believe me I will go whether the Stars are riding there or not.....

I love this song sung by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, but I'm afraid Freddie needn't have bothered..And get a decent haircut!

Whilst i admire fans devotion to a chosen side it still baffles me. I likewise am a supporter of the sport rather than any specific team.

Clearly management have a far better understanding of the problems of Blue Badge holders than even the badge holders themselves as they now feel that they are more than capable of walking 4/5 times the distance required to qualify. "Take up thy bed and walk" must be the latest buzz phrase. I am expecting that messrs Johnson, Pratt& Chapman to embark on the same walk, together with referee, visiting promoter etc.IE all but riders vans not being allowed inside the stadium

Its not only the NL that needs to breakaway from the BSPA, however as a minimum the League needs to make its own decisions not have them forced upon them by an organisation that has an entirely different agenda to the NL.

Did think rob was doing some good work at Newcastle, then they come up with one of the worst team managers?

Not sure why Aspgren never came back, as he was quality. Presumably as you say flights and costs etc. What about Bellego? Absolute mustard at the OTA, there is few better!

I'm sure some would say he's been told 'Pull it or you're banned', though we'll deny saying that....... I'm not saying I say that, but some would.......

I'm not holding my breath there. I'm still pretty stunned at the pulling of the petition off the back of one conversation with zero details whatsoever made public. After all that fuss aswell. Sadly sums up things over the years in speedway - those on the inside are quite happy to clam up when pushed for details from the paying public.

The truth is out there. The Prem clubs step in to save the day (after the destruction of the current development league) by running a second half division for "local young riders" to enable them to develop and hone their skills before finding there is no team place for them as they are all filled with overseas riders and fading GP stars.

Just call it the LHH Supporters Stand with LHH banners up either side of the plaque. Seems simple to me, a true supporter surely wouldn't want to be seen to stand in the way of sponsorship income to the club

Where does it say that their banner is going to cover up your plaque. Surely, given the length of that straight, it is big enough to accommodate both. Or is one of you looking for a fight.

I`m sorry, that wasnt my intention. I saw this image yesterday and wanted to post it then. IMO its powerful, poignant and worth a thousand words. A fantastic tribute to Danny.
