Scammers always try to lure the old and mentally disadvantaged, so obviously BSF members are at risk from them..

It’s also worth noting that Robert won races and reached semis in the GP before his crash in the SoN which completely knocked the stuffing out of him, he was never the same after that particularly round the first two bends.

Hi guys, every 3 days we are putting up an Isle of Wight 'Wightlink Warriors' full meeting on our YouTube channel in partnership with the Warriors Club. We have started with their return to the track Press & Practise Day in 2016, the first individual meeting, followed by the second already, and it will continue every 3 days in order of meetings until either speedway resumes or we run out of footage. These are the full meetings. Either check out the Isle of Wight thread on the forum inside National League section, or search for the Speedway Portal channel on YouTube. Other videos are on there also with much more footage planned in the coming weeks from various riders and clubs. And if you like it, why not press the subscribe button and the notification 'bell' by the side of it, that way you will get notified the moment a new video is released in the future, whilst helping us out at the same time.

Phil, Thanks to you and to your editorial staff, for the efforts in keeping going at this extremely challenging time. The sport needs the Speedway Star to survive and we should support and help them to weather this serious storm.

I see that the Principality Stadium is to be set up as a 'Nightingale Hospital' for 2000 patients ... Any pretence that the GP calendar will look anything like that still being envisaged by BSI seems fanciful.

Good meetings on video from Edinburgh and Peterborough this evening with some great races that show why we all love Speedway. Thank you to those who made it possible.

Wouldn't surprise me if Cardiff is the first GP.

Your point about Hancock is a relevant one, in five years time when Lambert is 25/26 he should be reaching his peak. How many of the riders in the GP series now will be either on the slide or have dropped out altogether. So you would think Lambert would be part of new era of GP riders a different ball game to what it is now.

No speedway in the UK until June 15th at the earliest. With so much international travel needed regrettably I cant other countries will start any earlier.

No a think you are right I deffo don't think we were favourites for the wooden spoon either. .. At home we would have put a few of the so called top teams to the sword.... Right this Star Wars movie is doing my nut in av seen it that many times a could star in it...So how about a bit of mischief... just to stir it up a bit... rather than your favourite 7 Diamonds how about your 7 riders you wouldn't want to see riding for Newcastle... 1. Eddie Kennett 2. Gary Havelock 3. Josh Auty 4. Adam Roynon 5. Jordan Frampton 6. Gary Flint 7. Danny Phillips Not thst any of them were bad riders per sey (cough cough) they just didn't seem to perform at Brough... and we once went after Kennett would you believe... Now light blue touch paper and stand well back... May the force be with you... Regards THJ

Are you Stevie Wonder in disguise, ???? av a look at the under 21s at the Vue Lambert was miles ahead of anyone on that day.Smektala had to ride his balls off to beat him( Smektala i rate will be a gp rider). Kubera and Chugonov are no more in front of Lambert get your head out your ass Phillipsr you have always knocked me piped up on a regular basis over Josh Auty .This topic you have no idea Chugunov,Kubera are hopefuls for the series in the future no more than Lambert or Drabik.

My memories of Newcastle Speedway would see; Robbie Blackadder David Bargh Rod Hunter Keith Bloxsome Richie Worrall Ashley Morris Ludvig Lindgren most of which developed from reserve, to become decent riders and were entertaining on track. Also at no.8,,, Kevin Macdonald, where we never got to see the potential he had.

Step forward Barry Bishop - kneel and Arise Sir Barry. And onwards to the deserved speedway sainthood status. Please foward some DNA and I will attempt to clone 50 Promoters, who can work together to ensure the speedway racing does survive.

I am a UD Almería season ticket holder and we still have 6 home games to be played! Will these games be played? If not will I get a refund? Who cares? People are dying, people are very ill......there are far too many serious matters to address, rather than speculating about refunds!

I would like to mourn the passing of Stars superfan and season ticket holder - David Mckuen, who passed away last week after a short illness. David was devoted to the Stars and attended every year since they opened ( and also the Linnets football team ). He was a kind and generous man who went out of his way to give me a lift to Stars matches. If you knew him on the first bend terraces, join me in a There You Go friend salute. R.I.P. David. God Bless.

What a stupid plan to come up with at THIS time. Some people really should not be allowed in decision making positions.
