Will be streamed online, £12.95 seems a bit steep to me?

Bydgoszcz are at home to Tarnow that weekend. Those with more fixture knowledge can confirm Saturday or Sunday. Be a bit silly if it was the Saturday meeting

Round 4 is tomorrow in all four groups and that will complete groups A,B and D. Group C has a round at Lublin tomorrow which is the 3rd of the 4 rounds. Daugavpils have chosen to hold their round in Lublin and i thought they might count tomorrow as a " double" round - however i have been told by my Polish contact that another round will take place in Lublin before the finals day which is on Thursday September 24th venue TBA. The final is being broadcast by Sabmar TV on the internet.

456 deaths in total in the whole of the Czech Republic since the beginning. And you're all falling for the utter BS of 'rampant'.. and 'big time increase'. The last time there were more than five in a day was May 22nd. The more tests, the more cases. People get colds you know.. and will increasingly do so as the weather cools.

If you would have travelled a fair distance then your fuel bill is saved ... whole family can watch it

Drew Kemp will be one I’d have thought. I know people will argue the merits of including Crump but seriously who cares. It would add a bit more interest to the meeting. Will also give us a rough idea of what standard he’s still at and what might have been this year at Ipswich. On the stream, yeah agree with others it’s steep. I’m still going to pay it though as I want to see the meeting.

Just seems a bit steep, I think it’s ridiculously expensive and won’t be bothering. Just cannot get it right can they, I dare say at a £5 they would have got pretty much most fans but at £13, we will see.

Shame a choice of seats wasn't given on purchase of tickets,,, as couldn't be any further away from my normal choice.

You WOULD say that, wouldn't you? Well, speedway was supposedly "rotten to the core", wasn't it?

Its where my wife works caring for others and where she contracted Covid 19, fortunately she recovered after a few weeks. I also had another household member get it as well. I was either lucky or was asymptomatic. In other words, don't ask stupid questions!

I’m sure the NHS staff will be delighted with your attitude.

Personally I can't wait to get to Foxhall and meet up with my speedway friends. If I get a virus I get it,, if u don't I don't,,, just like any other virus or illness.

Agreed. Michael could have been a Speedway Great and in the very top bracket with Mauger and Rickardson with one World Championship already at 20 . Therein could have been the problem being so young with to much to soon. He was both dazzling and brilliant.

I read somewhere, possibly here on the forum, that Lee blew Kenny Carter away in the Golden Helmet at Halifax when Carter was 'the boy' around the Shay....

Looking forward to reading Triggy's account of that night at Cradley. I was there as a wide eyed 7 year old, but standing on the second bend was obviously unaware of the gun incident. For the onlooking crowd the abiding memory of the night was Mike Gardner whacking Middleton on the head with his crash helmet following an incident near the end of the meeting, after which the nearest anyone in the crowd got to seeing Middleton was a blanket in the back of a car as it inched out of the stadium.

Finally a sensible voice on here.

Four main reasons I would think 1. Manchester is in varying degrees of lockdown week to week so planning an event there at the moment is very risky and has no guarantee it will happen. 2. Ipswich has around two thirds more capacity than the NSS so when percentage restrictions are applied you can still get a reasonable (and more importantly viable), crowd in.. 3. With Kings Lynn, Peterborough and Mildenhall all 'local' you have four lots of Speedway starved fanbases to pull from, which (with a good few from around other parts attending) hopefully will ensure all tickets available will be sold.. And 4. Ipswich might be 'in the middle of nowhere' but does traditionally at Easter get one of the largest crowds (if not THE largest single crowd), of the season at any track, so obviously have a strong underlying fanbase who show they will attend on one off occasions.. Put it all together and I would think the size of the venue, the amount of awareness of Speedway that exists in that geographical area, and the fairly low impact of Covid 19 to that part of the country, ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to planning and putting on an event that needs a crowd to be a financially viable...

Dont mind having wildcard selections but 5 is 2 to many IMO.
