Guzumped talk to me! There I was in the log cabin concluding a deal with Busty for Jimmy Lynch & Main Man Rogers to be his team managers, when this dude in his XR3i shows up, shouting “sold it geezer! 1.5% commission, it didn’t even go on right move, where do I put my board?” Slick back hair, suit from Next and shiny shoes from Barrats! I couldn’t compare with such suave! Before I know it Busty offers him the job there and then! Main Man Rogers is heartbroken had his resignation to Mase typed up too! I’ve assured Main Man Rogers and Jimmy Lynch I’m slipping Busty a few hundred quid to sponsor the Stars next year! On the proviso that T Tibbs Motors Europe Limited’s operations director Jimmy Lynch is named Team Manager and our head of customer relations Main Man Rogers will be his assistant. I’ll even throw in a lovely Renault Clio Convertible for Big Dale! You know it’s a deal you can’t refuse Busty!!!

Les Collins, Michael Coles & Kenny McKinna all rode for Edinburgh in 1992. Their sons Aiden Collins, Adam McKinna and Connor Coles all rode for the monarchs at some time.

Pay on the gate will be available

A tight, grippy track was never going to suit Crump tonight so soon after big injuries, so unfortunately we didn’t see the best of him this evening. Cook can clearly cut it at Prem level, as he has shown repeatedly this season, so we will have to differ on that one, old mate!

Indeed, if folk cant front up after a defeat they don't deserve to post stuff like that.

With restrictions now over, can you pay on the gate for this one? Thanks in advance.

Ok so this is pretty much a dead rubber as far as the overall result is concerned ..But if the racing is as good as last week ,it is definately worth a visit,,,Admission 0n the gate ,no more need for pre match booking,,,,,,Scott Nicholls, and Paul Starke are real racers and are flying at the moment,, And with some detirmined efforts from Ben Morley and Dan Gilks and hoping for a better return from Paul Hurry ,we could even get a result on the night......I believe Kyle Howorth guests for the resting Cameron Heeps....I am anticipating some great racing ,and i recon the stadium will be packed for the first time this season,,,,,,

BL65 you have excelled yourself!!! thanx for all the work you have put in. Not surprised that Long Eaton would have climbed up the table-as you say they had won some away fixtures but were sadly decimated by injuries. Sad to see Newport drop from 6th to 13th-should have kept my big trap shut!!. Seriously thank you for all the effort this must have taken-it is always a pleasure to read your posts- if I ever get back to the UK will buy you and compost a beer(Plus for you Norbold an orange juice-since you have foresworn the evil grape). Cheers to all..

Will likely top the CL averages for how many seasons running? ... higher than Morris, Schlien, Douglas, Nicol, Masters....

Just got home and in shock. Told the girlfriend that I'm heading straight to bed. Not in the mood for anything else.

As a neutral, I quite enjoyed that. Dad's Army were beaten by the much younger and better team on the night. That's all..

Crap race track tonight..no outside line...suits B.Vue who have their gating gloves on tonight.... actually I'd go as far as to say a p** poor performance from our lads..beaten at the gate in nearly every race... hopefully this will give them a kick up the arse for the rest of the season.

Where have I posted a negative here? Where have I said you dont get good racing without passing? All I said was about passing being at a premium, which is fact! Thank you AM, I appreciate your comments. I say what I see and that doesnt sit well with certain posters, Memo to self: Must ask Lewy if I can comment, as he always seems to think he is right and everyone else wrong. Second thoughts, not ruddy likely!

Let’s hope Brady doesn’t accept the infamous Calculator Mainman Rogers had in his brief spell at the Club. Then again being an Estate Agent he might know how to use it correctly.

To partially quote an earlier poster, with my comment in italic. "you have to hand it to the Eagles management for their track preparation" Good to be vindicated for something I knew always happened at Arlo ........ prepping the track riding lines to suit the home team happens everywhere, but doctoring the start grids is a step too far in unsportsmanlike behaviour. The "seagulls" took a pasting in part 2 as well I see in the training meeting.

I think the racing over the last 3 or 4 years is better than it used to be at Prague, I don't know if that is down to the current crop of riders or the track prep.

I believe Rob Lyon was a car salesman when he was appointed team manger, I don’t think he’s done too bad a job. i understand Brady has been a fan for 25 years, given that fans on here think they know better than many team managers, I suggest he has the perfect qualifications

PETERBOROUGH have moved to update fans on their admission policy ahead of tonight's eagerly awaited clash with Belle Vue at the Showground. The club would still prefer fans to buy in advance via the link on the homepage of the club's website. However, there remains the option to pay on the gate but this will mean slower admission than those with advance tickets.Club owner Keith Chapman said: "We've been getting a lot of enquiries about the admission policy from today so we feel it appropriate to issue this update."Fans are welcome to pay on the gate, but we would prefer advance orders as this speeds up the process of admission to the venue."We're looking forward to a great night of racing against Belle Vue with great weather, we need to win and I'm sure Rob Lyon will have all the boys fired up for it."

hawks1975, I could not agree more. I thought that the match against Redcar was a terrific entertainment and at one point I thought that the Kings just might get a result. While that turned out to be too optimistic, there were still a lot of plusses. Old Bob at Herne Bay should actually stop criticising from afar and failing to support his local team. Take the trouble to get out of your armchair, turn off the telly and enjoy what Hawks, myself and hundreds of others are enjoying at Central Park.
