9 pointsToft got double figures in both A and B fixtures, the Panthers only got 5 from his rides last week. RR for Ulrich yielded just 3 points. Care to rethink your post. PS citing Tatum is a bit like using Katie Price as your expert on road traffic law.

5 pointsThe sport in this country would be better off with no tv coverage at all, it’s descended into a made for tv sport with the live fan very much second in the thoughts. TV was responsible for the tactical ride and the play offs, gimmicks designed to turn it into something artificially closer, never mind who the better team or rider was. Also the only reason why these meetings now run into October is because of TV, everything should be done and dusted before October. TV was supposed to help the sport, not aid it’s demise.

4 pointsYou've used R/R most the season for a rider who got his average from riding at reserve, I'd say you've been very fortunate with injuries so far this season.
-
4 pointsAnd this year, thankfully, there is no chance of cheating Pirtaes being in the final.
-
4 pointsThe four Poles qualified, only one Brit did. Bewley is one of my favourite riders, but he doesn't deserve a WC for next year. Maybe ready in 2024?
-
4 pointsThey are Trees but during the peak of summer we hardly have any meetings, hence they have to be all crammed into the final month where it’s often cold and wet.

4 pointsIf it had been watched by enough people Sky would have kept it going as the advertisers alone would have been happy for them to continue with it... And if tracks had some kind of covers to increase their chances of running, rather than calling off meetings on 'damp but raceable' ' nights, I am sure Sky would have been more inclined to keep the contract open. As it stood, it cost them a lot of money to take all their kit to a track, set up, and have nothing to broadcast.. Bottom line is UK Speedway had 'the cream of the crop' over here and each top league track got over £100k a year for a long, long time, (literally tens of millions was put into the sport), and when the contract ended UK Speedway wasn't any better at all for all that money they had received... And that is simply rank incompetence...

3 pointsWhilst you are probably right that the numbers coming through is probably a little bit down (even basic maths of less tracks, less track time equals less riders developing through the sport) lowering the bar certainly hasn't and shouldn't be the answer. Riders need to be good enough to achieve team places not gain them because they are "young with potential" how about young and proven or just proven to be at a higher ability. Making concessions for age and lowering team averages has done immense harm to the league this year yet there are still riders who haven't improved upon the base signing 3.00 despite the lower limit meaning that natural inflation should have occurred across the board.

3 pointsIt was a devastating crash. Like Forever blue it happened directing in front of me. Poole needed a 5-1 in heat 15 to win with Darcy and Chris. Ward led but entering lap 2 Chris had gone on the outside of a Coventry rider and slipped in behind Darcy as they entered the first bend. But Chris clipped Darcys back wheel, straightened toward the fence and ploughed in. To make matters far worse, the bike hit the airfence which lifted and Chris at high speed went straight underneath it hitting the Armco. Badly broken bones and months out from which he never fully recovered his previous form to this day.

3 pointsWho are Glasgow meeting in the playoffs? They are still waiting to find out who their opponents will be! Similarly they have been waiting since the summer to find out their semi final ko Cup opponents thanks to Birmingham cancelling their fixture with Edinburgh at short notice. Finally the GB meeting is being held on a night that is not their normal or alternative race night. Get a life!
-
3 pointsCompletely disagree with that.. actually your talking absolute crap..Ully was in the form of his life beating everyone and your saying we were lucky he got injured?...and now this...whats your name Nigel Pearson?
-
3 pointsNot sure I’d be signing too many more riders without knowing the league structure and who will run.
-
3 pointsVaculik will get a pick because he is in the top 10-12 riders in the world, not because he is Slovakian. The only way imo he wouldn't get a pick would be if he was Polish.
-
2 pointsWe've got to remember it's a nice "problem"to have to pick between those three to represent GB but I just thought with the final being at Belle Vue it would have been Bewley+1

2 pointsUsing this season's rules/team limits (Which I know won't be the same next year) This fits... I haven't accounted for a 2.5% reduction for Jordan and the averages aren't final, but it's interesting to see what is possible... Also, if you wanted Dan Gilkes at reserve, swap Josh for Ryan Kinsley (3.00) and then you could have up to a 3 Star reserve, which I believe Dan will be next season 1. Ryan Douglas 8.04 2. Simon Lambert 5.98 3. Jake Allen 7.72 4. Jordan Palin 5.84 5. Thomas Jorgensen 7.28 6. Josh MacDonald 4.00 7. 2 Star Reserve (Not Dan Gilkes)

2 pointsCrump scored one or something last month for Ipswich at the EoES. Basically Cook is the only 'better' option on paper than Kerr and for whatever reason one or both parties didn't fancy it. Losing MPT is a blow for P'boro but if the track is how they like it and not how it was against Sheffield they should get the job done but I'd never write Wolves off, they are a team full if decent British League riders.

2 pointsArchie is a young 16/17 year old raw talent and a local Geordie rider who has mascotted and loved the club since a very young age... I remember Archie back into 2010!! When Kenni Larsen was around, must have made him 5 years old? We have watched him before and after most meetings over the years, practising and racing in the NJL and watched him develop as a rider. Last season was very tough for young Archie, however, towards the end of the season he was getting very close to the backs of the riders in front of him, and he had a lot of bad luck along the way, falls, bike failures etc... I honestly believe, if we can build a very strong team around him, give him absolutely 0 pressure, that he could be flying by the end of next season. He's basically Newcastle speedway's child... I do however, think he needs to work on his gating (which was noticeably better by the end of the season) and his anger (which understandably I guess, came out a few times last year too) Archie is a good little prospect who could be very good within the next 3 or 4 years... Same goes for Danny Smith, on a slightly lesser scale, we need to utilise him, if we haven't already lost him? Another rider who has impressed me, considering how little time he has ridden the 500s, is Jack Shimelt, already a quick looking rider around Brough and he's only been at it this year? As far as I can tell, another rider to keep an eye out for in the future...

2 pointsThe promoters already know what is 90% in place for next season, when you say "we know the rules" as in fans, then "we" will be the last to know and understand what is going on
-
2 pointsYes I know, and the Eastbourne and Birmingham teams were brilliant to watch, we need more national league teams like that to help back the new blood coming through... And help support some of the middle order CL riders who are maybe down on form a little like Ashley Morris, would be a good racer to follow for the new, inexperienced kids to learn a lot from... I agree that the standard of the NL needs to be raised, however, there isn't as many talents coming through now (14-15-16 year olds) as there was 5/6 years ago unfortunately

2 pointsGood Luck Lewis..gutted MPT is out and with Our top man missing and Bjarne dropping to reserve I fear the worst. All season we've been excellent and I feel robbed that we can't track our main team at the crucial time.
-
2 pointsRather Panthers made it through. Don’t want a tricky little track in a final.
