Perhaps also look to sign riders prepared to put Belle Vue first rather than someone who only wanted to ride home meetings or another that prioritised Sweden......

Its time the promotion moved with the times. Card readers are plentiful and todays younger generation prefer that option to pay for everything.

The rider signed will ride round in front of the main stand at the first team meeting He will stand there in his Aces Kevlars whilst the crowd all shout take it off , take it off Slowly the masked helmeted ace will be revealed to the crowd to be .................

The Bald Bloke does. Never use a card or that contact less thing. The only time i use my card is for online car/ bike insurance. Never carry one. Always cash. Think i might be in the minority

Also a joke system and has ruined the play offs there too.

Surely good racing would do that on a properly prepared racetrack. This has been thought up by someone who has signed a very good top two, my money is on Chris Louis. Its nothing to do with excitement it’s to do with making sure his team win.

It's the snowflakes that want Laguta & Sayfutdinov to remain. Now having both in the series could become dangerous for the other competitor's (in all sports) as assassinations from Spies could happen. Any Russian against the Russian operations are being required by Nationalist's to get called out & are being "dealt with" accordingly.

So basically if I’ve got this right, in theory a team who draws 10 matches but wins the super heat could be level on points with a team who wins 10 matches - only in speedway!!

Personally I think it was risky, waiting to see if the rules changed, however once he decided to do that, surely you'd have a back up plan to still be competitive?

Get the Berwick home meetings on demand (once you are back home from the meeting) if they are good meetings. I think it's worthwhile buying a season pass. I will probably watch most of the meetings as a highlights package. I need to find out if you can start watching half way through the meeting (say at heat 8) and you can scan back to heat 1 and watch the races before watching the last 2 or 3 races live. Take it you mean the interviews? Will get round to watching them at some point.

I can’t see where the comment has stated that George won’t do well this season, only that to help him settle into UK racing that the number 7 position will give him the easier rides to help him acclimatise to British Speedway. Any rider coming into British Speedway, especially those without league racing experience, need time to adapt to the track shapes, surfaces and the effects of the great British weather. Barghy arrived in the UK at a very young age and took time to settle and Mark took a few seasons before becoming the top rider he was when his UK career ended. George will be keen to do well and hopefully he has a good debut season but keeping the pressure off him to allow him to settle into his new surroundings is a sound strategy in my eyes.

As far as i can ascertain the Premiership will remain on Eurosport but the GP`s/SON will be live on the Discovery plus streaming Channel but highlights might appear on Eurosport later.

How about 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw, No tactical’s off 15 yards or otherwise. The current 15 heat formula has proved to be good and a reasonable points limit should be kept. If promoters think they need more excitement then they should ensure their race tracks are not super slick and encourage racing as opposed to gating competitions. Rules should be left to the SCB as the BSPL have showed over the years they are completely incapable of any reasonable improvements as this latest example shows. All leagues should be under exactly the same rules, let’s get back to keeping it simple.

Well he didn't succeed with that, and now will be a target of the Russian regime. I think it's quite dangerous for high(ish) profile people to speak out against the Putin regime, and I think would not have been done lightly.

https://www.bellevue-speedway.com/news/we-took-a-gamble Lemo admits he gambled on the Dan Beeley route. And I agree with him regarding this. If there was a chance for Dan to return he had to go for it

Seems like so many other rule changes British Speedway has conjured up over the years. Completely needless and guaranteed to wind the fans up

Seems a stupid idea to me. There's no need for it, what was wrong with a draw? Also as has been seen in the SON. Someone falls on the first lap or touches the tapes etc & you get the boring situation of a virtually pointless re-run where only one team can win with the 4,3,2,0 scoring system being used. Also cannot understand why they'd introduce a rule change like this & not announce it?

Seems so and the good news is Fans are now going to be allowed into the stadium. Taken off Facebook: Following discussions with the landlords, the public are allowed into the stadium on press and practice on Sunday 20th March. Doors open at 11am with riders taking to the track at 12. No indoor grandstand facilities are open but the outside terrace will be open and the catering van will be there to purchase food from. Entry is via the main fire exit gate.
