When you consider Belle Vue let Steve Worrall (5.94/9.05) & Richie Worrall (5.37/7.93) go, but end up with Jye Etheridge (5.22/5.35) it's awful team planning. Especially when you look at their Championship averages!

My little cousin made these for all the riders. He made a couple when the first few riders were announced and now he's finished them off. What does everyone think? I would love to upload all 7 but apparently there is a maximum file size allowed to be posted. How annoying, even when I try to upload them on separate posts. Here is Bradley's though I think he's done great, it's a Graphic design project he's doing for his GCSEs

Just basic common sense isn't it? I wonder if there is actually anyone within the sport who scratch their heads wondering why the sport has no major sponsor involvement.. Rendering your own competitions virtually worthless from the outset, by your own rules and regulation of them, is not the greatest starting point for success you would have to think, yet that seems to be the 'game plan' each season... It is certainly a very uniquely strange way to run a business...

Just as strong, if not stronger than Poole and Glasgow imo... Thompson twin(s)/Rowe Kemp/Ablitt Bailey/Hume All pretty like for like...

I believe that image is from Berwicks Scott Courtney's project. However the Ekstraliga are also working on a console game too!

I think the Worralls (Mainly Steve) was mutual, as I think their careers were getting a bit stale at Belle Vue and they needed a change (again mostly Steve)

Very sorry to everyone for having to post these all individually, but it keeps telling me about maximum file sizes if I try to post more than one together and there seems to be a time limit to what I can post as if I try to post one after another the same message appears, and I have no idea how to get around it. Anyway, here is the next one Hope George turns out to be a real find, or else we may struggle this year...

If you ask me, it should be a condition of the BSPZzzz ratifying a signing that the rider in question should be available for all if not the vast majority of the fixtures, if the fixtures are published before the signing is made. Anything else just invites more ridicule.

Did ok to qualify with 8 for the semi for a rider returning from a nasty injury, the more rides he has, the reflexes will get better hopefully

Great to update the first meeting of the season. Douglas has won the meeting with King taking 2nd and Aarnio 3rd.

At least it was valid ,as he had an injury.

They would look nice in the new pits.

If only this was a real thing, would be great way to get to kids for the sport

I seem to recall a succession of Bees home meetings decided by heat 13 (last heat) 5-1s for Booey and Cap’n Jim

I can’t see where the comment has stated that George won’t do well this season, only that to help him settle into UK racing that the number 7 position will give him the easier rides to help him acclimatise to British Speedway. Any rider coming into British Speedway, especially those without league racing experience, need time to adapt to the track shapes, surfaces and the effects of the great British weather. Barghy arrived in the UK at a very young age and took time to settle and Mark took a few seasons before becoming the top rider he was when his UK career ended. George will be keen to do well and hopefully he has a good debut season but keeping the pressure off him to allow him to settle into his new surroundings is a sound strategy in my eyes.

Saw him at Leicester and the only time he looked iffy was when he was out with NKI - but then again he is one of the two best riders around Leicester. Think that he may surprise a few people and put a point or so on his starting average.

Also we are now seeing the long term effects of doubling up, which stopped the progress of numerous riders who then couldnt get a team spot so dropped out of the sport, most of the current issues within the sport have been self inflicted by the BSPL who live for the here and now but its rapidly becoming then and now, with the now becoming smaller and smaller and less and less viable.

To be fair, if it is that they don't promote themselves aggressively in the local area, it wouldn't be any different from the vast majority of clubs... Amazing, as a random example, that when a Circus visits your town, you know who they are, what they do, where it is, what the prices are and what time it starts... I presume they do this due to the fact that they need to get people to come, and to pay to watch them so they earn money and keep going... An amazing concept, granted....

Tough on Artem and Emil but a great opportunity for Dan if this is how it pans out.
