So as it comes from north of the border there's a 24hr window each year to get the best value for money

I’ve seen local council leaders giving 10 minute speaches in +25c while riders stand in line waiting… Just stupid. But my main argument was that after the last rider exits the track after presentation, two minutes for the first heat should go on. Not towait 15 minutes for it because it says so in the SR.

Ok after 20yrs I thought I better register and post and clear this Eurosport/discovery+ thing up . The Grand prixs WILL be shown live on Eurosport 2 and on discovery+ the only difference is Eurosport will show commercials after every 4 heats etc while discovery+ won't have any commercials and will have cameras in the pits . Hope this clears everything up

When we mock the credibility of British Speedway we forget Scottish football. ‘There’s always someone worse off than you’ as your Mum would say.

Could Matej Zagar get the wildcard gig ? I believe Jurica Pavlic could have retired. Slovenia isn`t that far away.

Be giving it a miss unfortunately due to my daughter's wedding later today & it'll be a case of looking after our amazing granddaughter on Sunday as she's still a bit young yet for the speedway so I'll be watching the updates as well as watching Newcastle hopefully getting a result against spurs on the TV

Top 2 are ok, both should average above 8. Expected Auty & Nielsen to average (6-7) as back up. Morris & Shanes (5.5) so would always have a good reserve, with a promising Pearson at 7, who seems the most likely of all the 4.00 newcomers to reach his ave.

They prob could sell that one out twice over tbh esp if it wasn't bring streamed as not too far to travel. Easily could get 3k I think as you might get Swindon and Reading fans wanting to go too.

The truth is bv has run up serious huge debts and losing over £100k each year. Guess these too riders each cost over £2500 each plus plus per meeting. As a business the way things are speedway just don’t work. More cash going out than cash coming in, result the sport is bust.

I think Stewart Dickson's eyes will be on a much-more-important match on Sunday!

Indeed... If the rules allow it then fair play... "When in Rome" and all that.. Blame the game, not the player..

The fans might get behind him but most of the riders will be in front of him unfortunately.

I as far as I am aware it was a problem with the polish authorities not the British ones .

Leicester may not have the best race track in the UK (there can only be one of them) but a more accurate statement would be "people always use to say it is the shape that causes the problems" - Given the changes made over the past few years to the shape, length and banking of the track , the only folk who now continue to cite the track as "poor" or "wrong" are those who have not attended a Leicester meeting in recent times or expect something which frankly speedway never deliver's anywhere - ever - i.e. 4 laps of racing with many multiple passes in all races. Meanwhile those who have attended meetings at Leicester will have seen comparable racing/passes to that seen at most UK tracks and not just for the front two places but also for the minor (but just as important) third place.

Expectation is always higher when your team wins something , but the real 2022 Panthers team includes Harris & Basso as well they labelled this as "challenge of the champions" then weakened the real Peterborough team and strenghtened the Poole team, We may crash and burn this season but the 6 who have returned deserved to be included in 2022 for there efforts in 2021
