That should've been made clear to the fans at the start of the season. Pretty poor imo

http://www.birmingham-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.3158 Birmingham just don`t get it, when you make a team change you are meant to make your team stronger.

Compost Corner was a feature on Tiswas . There was a bunch of us who followed the Witches home and away late 70s, early 80s - and many different names and nicknames were used for riders and teams. KL were called the Deadbeets (after the sugar beet factory behind the first/second bend was demolished). Those of us who watched speedway then saw the last heyday of the sport.

BRUMMIES MOVE FOR ELLIS THURSDAY, MARCH 24, 2022 BIRMINGHAM have pulled off the signing of reigning British Champion Adam Ellis. The 26-year-old, who won the National League with the club in 2015 and had a further spell at Perry Barr four years later has agreed to join the Brummies and completes their side for the coming season. The above is the statement release back in March when news of Ellis' signing was made. It clearly states "coming season" and nothing about being short term. Someone is being economical with the truth and you must wonder how many season tickets were purchased thing the current British Champion would be racing at Perry Barr every Wednesday? No wonder attendances are falling at numerous tracks

I believe he only signed a short term contract so adam has done nothing wrong.

Jeez what a bummer having two 'international' meetings running on the same afternoon. Did Bomber Harris have to flip a coin to decide which one to ride in?

Greg Hancock is now long retired, so does anyone know why he still wearing that silly monster cap? Has anyone actually seen Greg's hair since about 1998?

In a nutshell if you have a changeable track you would like too think they would have the know how to do likewise with set up. if it’s not working don’t persist with it . anyway a week off from Speedway. Seville bound for a minor football match this week then im on to Tenerife on Friday. You heading over yourself ?.

Not to stick boot in but he was at reserve when got replaced and was struggling there... Until he got told was getting canned and nearly got a maximum ha

As long as there isn’t one after 7pm then it won’t be an issue. The track has excellent drainage, it hasn’t rained for days so track bone dry. I suspect they will be watering by start time.

Ahh the Jack Smith who thinks he's as good as Zmarzlik (in his own mind) but regularly finds himself without a Championship place.

If he's going to ask Ford for anything it will be to go back to the Prem!

I think the problem is Tuesday when he is due to be riding for both Dackarna and Birmingham.

    You sure it's his left?
  21. 2 points
Perhaps you should be in his corner at GP's instead of 3 times World Speedway Champion Jason Crump

It's the abbreviation of would have, say would've, no hard lol. Anyway good news the tracks in better nick for rest of the season

I think the answer to your question is, They have certainly not outgrown the National league. In the 2 National league standard meetings the twins have ridden in this season at other tracks ( both independent tracks ) Mildenhall & Kent, the twins have managed 4 race wins out of 19 races between them, both were beaten 5 times by home riders at Kent yesterday. So yes there is no doubt other riders will push them and in my opinion the National league is perfect for their continued progress in the the sport. Have to say some of the races the twins were in yesterday were fantastic and I really hope to see them back at Kent again this season.
