Difficult to predict this one, expect Home win.But Masters and Nichols could rack up a few points and Boughden at reserve might be a thorn in their side.

Not expecting Hodder to do much but Flint has been about the Polish scene for a couple of seasons now.

This banning is getting interesting.
Example:
Chris Harris well published episode last week when a 4 hour delay on a British Motorway almost caused him to miss Glasgow’s meeting would that have led to 7 day ban if he had not made it.Does any rider that misses a meeting get an automatic 7 day ban now.Or is it only if your stuck on the Continent.?

Dan Thompson certainly has made a bright start to the season.

Messrs Screen, Loram, Woffinden, Lambert and Bewley were, whilst well under 21, beating world level heat leaders regularly...
Wouldn't be a bad thing to lower expectation, and therefore pressure, on these lads..
If they reach HL level in Div 2 and No6/SS level in Div 1, it will be an achievement...
None of the current crop could hold a candle to the names you have mentioned.Like I said we do not have a great deal of international level youngsters at present.

Brennan leaving before the last ride is disgraceful.
To represent your country is the ultimate aim of any sports person and to let the country down is disgraceful to say the least.
Inept management in every respect of team selection and the reasons behind selection.
Pitiful display by who some regard as our future super star rising stars
You have take in the fact that the meeting was postponed from Sat.Brennan could have pulled out altogether. We don’t have a lot of rising super stars these days.

It’s not really a case of are they ready,it’s the business model for the Clubs ,can they afford the expense of running meetings given that most of them are just keeping their head above water at Championship level IMO.Think it’s fair to say they don’t get the crowds level’s anywhere near Championship level.Whether they make money you would have to ask the Promotions.

We all know Polish tracks are not nearly as technical as the majority of GB track.

You were right in you assessment of the Czechs. Our young talent is in short supply, compared with Continental riders

She is certainty no worse than some of those who were at Armadale on Fri.Better than few.Its Workingtons decision who they want in the Team.

Due to rain offs this is only our second meeting of the season since the big home win over Oxford on Good-Friday.
Looking at both teams 1-7 I feel that Poole have the edge.
Edinburgh have Josh Picketing back leading the team backed up by Justin Sedgmen, a good top two. Kye Thomsom being the third heat leader. I feel that Poole have a stronger top three with Richard, Ben and Tom.
The Monarchs have Paco Castagna and Lasse Fredriksen as second strings and the Pirates have Zach Cook and Tobias Thomsen.
If Tobias has a good meeting to back up Zach than hopefully they Wiil out point the two Monarchs.
This leaves the reserve pairings.
Sam Hagon and Max Perry for Poole against Connor Coles and Max James for the Monarchs.
Personally I think Sam has the beating of both of them and Max Perry should at least see off Max James.
Home win for Poole not sure by how many points but enough for us to take up to Armadale for the second leg.
Thoughts?
Big 1st leg for Poole and they will go through.

He beat Jacob Hook and Bowtell when he fell.Otherwise Jack Smith twice and Harrison once.
-
Good wins for Glads. The usual from MPT and Allen as unpredictable as the weather. How was the track after improvements.?

Don’t see how Tigers fans can complain about Starke last night, his two 5/1s with Claus probably won them the match.

8 hours ago, szkocjasid said:Borke did his job as a reserve, no question about that.
You say "Ethridge lost to riders he was expected to beat" do you really think Etheridge was expected to beat Harris, Worrall or Vissing? I can't imagine anyone expecting that.
It’s not about expecting to lose though is it.

25 minutes ago, Gazc said:Was surprised that we never asked about Borke as it was clear he couldn’t get to grips with Armadale.
From memory he was very impressive at Glasgow last season and again tonight.
Berwick have won a watch getting him this season, Kemp very impressive also it was the heat leaders that let them down tonight.
Borke is a snip on that average.
