Barker never withdrew from the meeting, was possibly just assumed because all the recent press releases by mike bowden spouting aload of tripe. Speedway star is a good example reading brums article which included an interview from ben, then the plymouth article with an interview from bowden -

are there any updates for this meeting tonight -
I think there should be a professional code of conduct for all riders, that they should not be allowed to discuss speedway matters on social networking sites, until full investigations have come to conclusions of findings and outcomes

just thought i would let everyone know travel lodge are all currently 19 pounds per room so people that have a very long way to travel and want somewhere reasonable to stay at thats the place to go, also it not far from track -
couldnt of put it better myself red
-
that was what i was trying to say wackie, but i seem to dribble on
-
i would also agree with you tai has and is doing really well, 1st year at gp level is a hard transition but he will get better, just everyone hypes him up and he can do no wrong and to be fair there are many riders that are also doing well, everyone has good days and bad days, when tai snubes british speedway, me as a speedway fan am disheartened of that attitude towards his fans and the clubs, that have helped him along in his career,
-
not from brigade, somebody that was also around when words were being exchanged
-
it was to do with tai stating to others that british speedway has never done anything for him and never will do, then waving his aussie passport around, ben told him to go back to aus then, tai did not like the comment, i do believe not many british riders are happy with golden boy tai, this comes from a very reliable source
