Anyone going to the BMF Tail Ender at the East of England Showground tomorrow (16th Sept). There'll be some good ole vintage speedway going on. I'm hoping to go. Yogi.

Anybody in the Peterborough East Anglia area, or maybe further afield will have heard of the BMF. It's a massive big bike show which is in the month of May at the Peterborough Showground. During the show there's a vintage speedway bike meeting which is absolutely brilliant. I'm into nostalgia so a trip down memory lane was a must to see the older generation take to the track again. One chap was in his eighties (80s) and wasn't shy of putting on a good show for the public. It was a brilliant 40 mins and i take my hat off to all involved. Fantastic. Yogi. P.S. I'm not old (honest).

I remember when I was a young lad going down to St Thomas's in Exeter to watch my favourite team. On one occassion Ivan had his gold bike on show on the centre green. I asked one of the marshals if I could go and photograph it and he said - yes of course. On my return to the stands I noticed the bike was swamped with people wanting photos of it. I'd started a trend but at least mine was taken free of people. Memories eh. Yogi.
