Plans are being worked on to bring the Bristol Bulldogs Speedway team back on the track in 2018 in a series of away challenge meetings. Shaun Honour has been given the permission by the British Speedway Promoters Association to use the Bristol Bulldogs name. Whilst this is underway venues for a suitable location for a speedway stadium in the Bristol area are being looked at. Meetings will take place in the coming weeks between Honour and Brian Mead the secretary of the Bristol Speedway Supporters Club. Further updates will be announced soon.
