2016 Swc Semi's And Final 29/30/july 2016
Mark replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Hard to omit Bomber on his Prague GP form. Wont see Danny King doing that. -
Good work from Bomber. Has to be an even harder choice for Rosco now for SWC Racing was the best ever from marketa. Didnt have much to beat but a very good GP.
-
I thought that too as he looked over his shoulder to see where Tai was. shame the 2nd semi was stopped as Bomber was going to the final.
-
Semi final for the Bomber.
-
Have you had a pint of lager ? You know you should not drink at your age.
-
Very aggressive from Kildermand to knock Bomber off. Bomber lucky to only have bruises. If that had been Nikki !!

2016-what To Do With Jarrick Hample

Kildermand was a replacement in 2015. Haven't checked the rules myself but TV made a big issue of him or Chris Holder getting into the top 8. -

Rosco has a very hard job to pick his top 4. watching Bomber last night at Lynn he would have to be picked but on 13th June form you couldn't go near him. Hard to omit a GP rider. -

Rules should be followed. Hampel should be allowed to ride when he is fit. If he rides well he would then be in contention for a 2017 wild card. -
Danny King wasn't in anyone's team before last night. He rode very well but one meeting on a wet heavy track shouldn't change that. His last appearance in the SWC tells it's own story. Our manager has a very hard job to pick a 4th rider to add to Tai, Cook & Lambert. On current form I would pick Scott Nicholls with Ellis as No5. Tough on Bomber as he has been a great servant but his form is poor and confidence must be low. Maybe he can have two good GP's to put him back in the frame.

agree but hard to ignore the top scorer after 20 heats. didn't say he wouldn't ignore him but it would be hard to justify. he might win the final. hard for him to ignore Bomber too. he is a GP rider and following your guide he shouldn't look at one meeting to pick his team -

Rosco will have a hard job not to pick King as he is top scorer. But we know what he did in Bygodszcz a few years back. -

But they would do that at every track. Home advantage will count with the crowd and we may do better than some think. -

Nicholls. Cant use Bomber on this form. Even Richard Hall beat him. Not sure who is under 21 years old for the reserve spot but maybe Garrity if young enough -

To get close racing you need 4 riders of roughly the same quality and speed. Most races have two decent riders and two not so good. This heat is Worrall / Lambert with Bates / Barker. Could be two races spread out by 50 yards -

C.Louis said it should be a good track after 10 races. -

Travel to Manchester on a wet day in bad traffic. Or watch on TV. -

Didnt have any problem with a flask and sandwiches last year. Be madness if they stopped people doing the same this year. -

What rider is he pointing a finger at ? Must be a rider who has not performed well in any world championship before, is out the top 8 in 2016 but has good league form. Leaves two possible riders. Work it out for yourself. -

Well done to Hancock. Not my Fav rider but he is adding to a superb 2016 series. The racing is top class, no one is safe in any race and we have the prospect of having half a dozen riders being able to win the title with a couple of GP's left. With the odd exception we have the top 15 riders in the world competing and it makes for great racing in nearly every heat. Wild cards for 2017 could be a tricky process as some big names will finish out the 2016 top 8. The selection system may dilute the quality for 2017 ?. -

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Mark replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
You are wrong. He should be able to ride for GB and in the Elite League if he wishes. It's up to him where he works as an individual and he does plenty for GB speedway. He has given scheduling reasons and poorly prepared tracks as valid reasons. Why doesn;t GB speedway get its act in order and race on one night. We might get plenty of top riders coming back that way. Didn't he wear an Aussie shirt when watching the Eurovision Song contest ? Wonder how many will think I am being serious.
