Oh that is the most dreadful news. I remember when Jamie Fagg (?) came over and Trevor was his mechanic. His progress was a joy to watch. So exciting. The last I heard he had married a girl mildenhal way and was gardening. One of the best racers we had.

West ham boy - did you say the late Trevor o'brien?

You lot are funny. It will take time for dugard to bring young talent through. You don't just wave a wand and they appear.

Always very good value at that level.

It may be part of the job but they are still human. Higher profile sportsmen or women than them have had careers that have suffered by having their confidence destroyed. The reality is that bar the newbie they are all on averages that can be improved and in most cases considerably. Getting off to a good start is vital.

I really do think we are being too negative. Come on if the guys read this stuff it will send an awful signal. Lets give them a chance. We all start on the same points limit and at least we have nearly filled our quota. We have strong experienced reserves and huge potential in the engine room.

I don't see that at all. As long as nelson arrives and Len listens to the riders regarding track preparation that is a very strong team at rye. You only have to win your home meetings to keep the fans happy. Throw in a couple of away wins and you have a team capable of the play offs.

No old clique comments from me. Think Andrew is a legend and as from a tutoring perspective worked wonders with Nelson.

Got to say we have become a miserable bunch. I think it's a mistake not having Oliver for Luke but actually that is nt the worst team at all. Don't forget boxall rode as our second heat leader for the first half of the season and JG was coming back from a seasons lay off. The new Dane looks a good prospect and nelson is always good value. Two strings reserve too.

If you remember we did say be careful what you wish for when some moaned about big home wins. Oh for those days now

I love luke - a great guy who is a legend for us but I do wonder if maybe he has different fish to fry. He's not the hungry young kid who bounced back from horrific injuries anymore. He has family responsibilities and to me looks for the first time ever that winning speedway races does nt come first in his life.

If Steven 101's team is under the points limit that is in my view the league champions 2015.

Funny how history seems to be revisiting itself. Was nt much wrong with the set up where there was one strong british league and a good quality NL. Could do much worse than go back to that set up. at least that way in these difficult times almost everyone can afford to run in one league or the other. Was it Crayford that was tiny and had a horrible dip on the first or third bends?
