  1. Tsunami and another poster who's name escapes me have both posted that the panels come with strapping of some sort attached to the bottom and then attached to whatever is behind it fencewise. Tsunami said in his post it was a karabiner type attachment. So to my untrained eye I suspect the bottom straps of the fence should be attached to the suitable points on whatever is behind then when the panel is partially inflated the top straps are attached.

  2. Re photographers and film crews I think it's important to capture what they can but obviously not continue to film/photograph a stricken person. These pictures while hopefully not released into the public domain could help investigations by the SCB/ACU into why the gates opened so learning lessons and good practice to hopefully prevent further incidents.

  3.

And what if they don't? 40,000 fans already represents more than the combined regular speedway going public, so what if even only 5 or 10K fans decided to opt for a Belle Vue rather than Cardiff GP?

You also won't be able to charge anything like the ticket price for Belle Vue compared to Cardiff, so there's a substantial revenue drop as well. Then the Welsh Government starts questioning why fans are spending their money in Manchester when they could be spending it in Cardiff, after shelling out hundreds of thousands for the privilege of bringing the British GP to their city.

The Welsh Govt could ask the hoteliers of Cardiff why their exorbitant price rises had driven fans to go to Belle Vue instead.

I'm all for making hay while the sun shines but how they can justify what in some cases is a 100% price rise for certain dates is beyond belief.

  4. Mildenhall USAF base is used under the visiting forces act . This was an agreement set up by the govenment during WW2. Re confirmed in 1952 It more or less lets them do as they please.

TBH that's okay but personally having not been to the FenTigers Den since the very early 80s i find it totally bizarre that local tenants can complain about noise from the stadium with all that going on even if it's far less airplane noise than years ago

Even more bizarre that people spend a fortune on a house without doing any homework on the local environment.

Very much like those who move near a farm and complain about the cock crowing and the smell of manure, my memory is reminding me of a couple of CityFolk who moved somewhere years ago and moaned about the church bells ringing on a Sunday morning.

If I lived there I'd break into the church and bring the F☆☆☆☆☆G bells all night and put cows☆☆t on their drive

  5. Think your all barking up the wrong tree, clearly you all have a hearing problem, might just be wax, id go and get them checked :D Dear uncle Rosco would need to use massive powers of persuasion, and i doubt Rosco is that cleaver.. And i doubt very much that Matt would let him out of loan, so Swindon would need to break into the Bank of England. Put a price on Darcy, i wouldn't like to hazzard a guess.

My Mate who's a butcher reckons you could be a HAZARD if you were let loose with your meat CLEVER.

  6. I'm not at Foxhall tonight but I heard a whisper from the girl on the turnstiles that her great great grandfather's mother in laws çousin had met someone in a pub that said it was TRUE/FALSE(delete as appropriate) so it could be that it IS/MIGHT BE /ISNT correct(delete as appropriate)

Until there's a statement on the British Speedway official site I'd take it all with a pinch of salt as they've been quick to update the site with SCB statements this season
