As regards tickets and app, I just got mine and it was pretty trouble free. Apologies if any repeat of previous but.. 1. Went to Google Play and downloaded SEE Tickets Wallet.to my phone. 2. Went onto SEE Tickets website and created an account. 3. Went onto SEE Tickets site on my laptop, found the GP and selected my tickets. 4. When prompted for my SEE Tickets account details I entered them. 5. After the sale went through I logged back into SEE Tickets website on laptop, went to 'My Account' then 'Orders' and could see tickets in there. 6. Logged into SEE Tickets wallet on phone and they're in there fine. Looks like a lot of faff, but took me 10 minutes. I wouldn't blame SGP etc for this, there may be some contractual thing with Stadium etc.

GP round 1 Gorican Saturday April 30th

You seem to have a real bee in your bonnet about this. Ultimately, both riders are banned whether you agree with it or not. Move on and enjoy the speedway (it was a decent meeting by the way) -
Unfortunately this sort of thing paints speedway in a bad light. It's bad enough for the regulars, but the chances of new/casual fans returning is very low. Surely the cost of a private ambulance would be worth it for avoiding abandonments and reputational damage. It kind of demonstrates that the sport is at its core amateur.

Fair enough then must have been much heavier in North of the city. -

I live in South Birmingham and it was a decent shower earlier, but only a shower. Forecast is good for tonight so seems odd. Did tip it down last night but I'd be surprised if track wasn't raceable. -
Polish Extraleague play- off Final 2nd leg Sunday 25th September Live on TV

Quick question(s), and excuse if this has been covered but looking at Ekstraliga website, are they doing some fixtures on some Thursday/Saturdays this year? Looking at May for example, fixtures on 19th/21st, June 23rd/25th etc.. Also, does anyone know if Wroclaw GP has sold out? No link for tickets on website. -

Am probably going to a Czestochowa match this season, can you turn up and pay (presumably with ID) on day or do you need advance? -
As has been hinted at before on this thread, I can't believe the current promotion thought that 1000 break even was achievable every week, absolute madness. Poole, aside, how many other teams in the Championship hit those kind of numbers?
-
They are due to announce more on Tuesday so hopefully much more clarity after that. They can hardly announce too much more regarding fixtures until then.
-
Think a pay cap at NDL would be a great idea. No problem with Eastbourne and other 'bigger' NDL clubs on an even playing field. As riders at that level are essentially part time then most fixtures can be held at weekends, which helps crowds in most locations.
-
Very fair point. When Eastbourne won NDL/KOC a few years I was just as happy as if we'd won the top league. It really doesn't matter what league you're in as such, as there is no promotion/relegation, you just try and win that league. The moral of the story is stay in the league that won't bankrupt you!

Having been to many tracks across the country and watching speedway for many moons I don't think the Eagles could do much more than they do already with social media, fan engagement etc..Some clubs are stuck too much in the past but don't think Eastbourne can be accused of this. There's always plenty of youngsters in the crowd. We don't get to see the balance sheets, rider costs, effect of Covid etc so am sure Jordan and co thought they would have a manageable business. Be interesting to see what they say over the next day or two. Let's be honest, sports teams of varying types often run at a technical loss but are subsidised by wealthy owners/sponsors, however Speedway rarely has that luxury so the margin between success and failure is tight.

Accept that this year NDL has been a bit stop start however with Newcastle and Birmingham experiencing problems this year then a stronger NDL next season may be worth considering for Briitish Speedway.

Fair play, yes Poole do but there won't be too many others I'd suggest.
