I'm puzzled as to whether to perceive you as a gifted amateur psycho-analyst or a proficient barrack-room lawyer. Either way, I sense the truest perception has you down as a glove-puppet with the hand of the BSPA up you. So from now on I'll call you Patsy, the Promoters' Performing Puppet, going around like a deranged Mr. Punch, bonking everyone on the head with your policeman's truncheon if they dare to speak a word of dissent.

Later on when I’ve got a bit more time I’m planning on having a serious go at the promoters’ unhinged idea that the answer to speedway’s ills is to ration its exposure to the paying public. I may put a few noses out of joint – best be ready with your truncheon!

Why don't you have a 'serious go' at our promoters tonight, in person, they'll all be there.

  2. The passing the buck hypocrisy of blaming a "high ranking officials". They need to grow some and accept they screwed up by believing they could cheat the system. Instead we will have a stack of people trying to work out who that high ranking official is. The oldest trick in the book; screw up and point the finger elsewhere!

I notice they don't have the cojones to blame the BSPA, the usual direction in which the finger is pointed; which begs the question did they seek or ignore the advice of the BSPA?

Will the BSPA management committee have the 'cojones'to tell us how the vote went and who voted what on their discretionary decision as to whether Ty Proctor stays or goes.

  3. What makes it even worse, is that somebody said earlier in the thread that Sheffield were singled out for praise at the start of the year for their understanding of the visa workings, apparently - looks like they have egg on their faces now.

In hindsight Sheffield should have probably seeked advice from the management of the team you support.

  4. Oh boy am I going to be in trouble. :D

We had heavy rain late afternoon, early evening yesterday, that cleared away overnight. Forecast for today is good, cloudy in the morning but dry, afternoon much better with some sunshine.

This forecast is not "out dated", or am I a "pessimist". ;)

Cheers, will probably make the trip up for this one, weather forecast for the rest of the day does look promising !!
