  1. Really looking forward to watching something different. I think i read that Gomolski wasnt coming due to an injury which is a shame as he was impressive at Poole last year. Good price also.

In England for sure, but in both Poland and Sweden all 3 have higher averages than Scott. Like most others i hope Scott does get in, either by qualifing or wildcard, but in fairness, they have qualified on merit.
  3. So come on Hatcham, with your knowledge of Oxford your quite obviously connected with the promotion. I was a regular at Oxford and conversations with Pepe. Eriksson, Tomicek and Johno tell me that monies are still owed.? By the way Tottenham have tickets for almost every home match if you would like to phone the box office. AS for the fact they dont need to encourage children to support again totally wrong.
  4. I do and you clearly have no idea about making books balance. Maybe your wonderful promotion should think about paying outstanding debts to the riders at Oxford before you start telling us how great they are. Pepe is still owed a 5 figure sum, and no longer wishes to ride in England after the experience. You doubt what im saying, then speak to the other riders from Oxford, they dont speak quite as highly of the promotion. As for the ticket price, my kids cost me the same when i book a flight to any GP as my seat and i was lucky enough to go to Wembley last week to see Tottenham v Chelsea-guess what, they paid the same as me and the other half again !
  5. Under 5s are free unless you want a seat for them in the grandstand. If thet sit on your lap its just the adult that pays. Hope that helps. Hells
  6. To be honest i will be pleased when this meeting is over and everything has got back to normal. Many but not all are happy with the pricing of this meeting, and certainly the riders on show either match,or better the gp field. I do understand its difficult for some families to afford the £ 25 a head plus booking fee,its really a no win situation. The way we looked at it was for the 4 of us to go we had to put aside just £ 7 a week from the time it was announced until the week of the meeting. I think it made the event both affordable and achievable for us and the kids as a family. Someone mentioned they were on hols in the area at the time but wont go due to the kids prices and the fact they show no interest in the sport, well if thats the case it wouldnt matter if the event was £ 5 to get in, they still wont enjoy it. Maybe its time to lay this to rest, if you would like to see a wonderful meeting with many stars we have small chance of seeing at other times in 2008, then head down but if not thats your choice. What is clear is that it doesnt matter if its Plymouth, Belle Vue or Glasgow, i wish every club and its promoters every success as we need them all to prosper.
  7. Have just purchased my tickets from the bic in person, wanted to see where our tickets would be seated. The box office was closed for part of the festive season and couldnt get down before when open. The girl who served me said bookings had been quiet for the last 10 days, but they have been successful today selling over 120 tickets upto 4pm. Parts of the sections in areas 1 and 7 have not been made available for sale due to restricted view, not many but i guess it takes out 25 seats in each area. Restaurant seats still available, but over 50% gone already.
  8. It costs the same or much more to have a night on the town. Im more than happy with the price considering the riders present. If people had put just £ 1.50 a week away from the time the meeting was announced to the week of the event, this would buy them a grandstand ticket. Also, ive recently booked a holiday with friends who have children, and they received no discount for the kids, guess with only so much room on the plane they have to cover costs.
