  1. As long as there isn't a Lucky Loser, the league might have some credibility

  3. Brooklyn Nets NBA team paid Kevin Durant $30 million knowing he was going to miss a whole season. Cleveland Browns NFL team have signed DeShawn Watson knowing he will be facing a big suspension this year. It happens.
  4. Its the same with the Lucky Loser in Poland. Team gets knocked out the playoffs but can still end up champions.

To be honest not sure, I've got a season ticket so it never effects me. I would just think for promotions who want to offer a refund and customers who want that option it makes it far easier to offer that option.

I would imagine it is easier to offer a straight refund to customers who bought tickets online. You have all the details at hand. As opposed to re-admission tickets being the only option.

Certainly easier in the case of postponements for promotions to refund customers who bought tickets online rather than issue re-admission stubs. How many times have promotions been criticised in the past for a no refunds policy? I do find it funny that promotions and the sport in general is criticised for living in the past and not using up to date technology and when it does, in a case like this, there is criticism because they are not catering to their fanbase.

There was never a 'problem' with Berwick. The delay was the promotion giving their preferred option all the time possible to decide whether he would ride or not. Attracting a rider was never a 'problem'.

If it's for you, it's for you. To me, this is just a series of gimmicks, rather than a sport. Each to their own.

There's no way I can agree with this. Almost 50% of the fixtures are Island Masters (the same riders in each?) or 3TT (the same teams?). Flat track racing and grass track bikes on shale does nothing for me. Just glad it's not my local team.

Anything like last season would be fine with me, enjoyed the meetings at Berwick. A couple more meetings would be good for the riders.

I'm glad you have decided you are "right". So, as the "clueless clowns" (and I would be interested to know who your "some" are), don't have an answer, I'm interested in what your recovery plan would be.

Finish sixth in the league, knocked out of the playoffs and still end up as champions. Worthy winners.

If you want to look for 'failings' i would look at the fact that very few clubs ever owned their owned tracks / stadiums when starting up or when the going was good. My only beef with the Polish league is their insistence, which they would love to bring in, that riders only ride in the ekstraliga and nowhere else, when it leads to a clear shortage elsewhere. I am not jealous of their success or the big tv money deals, good luck to them on that front.

Speedway in Poland will eventually ruin all the other domestic leagues. And will it grow any in that country at the expense of all the other nations? The recent statement of 139,000 viewers for each meeting on tv doesn't suggest so. I would also suggest 'huge' being put into perspective.
