You've got to be joking Personally, being there myself I'd care to disagree.... A meeting I was at last season at Armadale was far far colder than Poole was yesterday... And by the way.... you know you just walked straight past me after you looked in our direction.... by the time I knew it you had vanished into the crowd further along from us and I was too stiff to actually move Very enjoyable meeting yesterday though... Worthy of mentions were Barker, Skornicki, Piszcz, Bridger and Jankowski who went about his business very quietly but done what was needed. David Howe was disappointing... don't know if that was just the track or whether he was feeling the cold but if he rides like that for Scunthorpe then they have problems... Robbo was solid if not spectacular.... but boy is he going to need to sharpen up his gating skills for EL. He was left every time at the gate yesterday and on that track there was not much he could have done to make up the ground. Was nice to see womble53 again, who looked like he enjoyed that cheeseburger he had.... I watched every bite you took ya bugger And I agree with what one or two others have said... if Poole can produce racing like they had yesterday on a dustbowl... then Good Luck to them if they get another crack at it. Certainly done it justice...

Absolutely cracking nights worth of racing. It was my first visit to P'boro last night and I guarantee that I will do my best to get back some time again. Three standouts of the night for me were Tai, Zabik and Bridger. Wouldn't actually be surprised to see Bridger end up there next season on that showing, even more so because it says in this week's SS that he wanted to go to a bigger track.. Was nice to see Robbo back mixing it again, IMO proving that he could still do a job in the EL. One bad thing though, t'was blooming cold last night

Not really harsh at all... as others have said, you more or likely knew that you would be riding against a Saturday club after the hard work you done against Sheffield in the home leg... Never mind though... one week of income lost for Berwick and David has spent money coming over for literally a party... As for the choice of date being different...David's testimonial has been pencilled in for the 18th long enough which is why some people may be a little miffed your team ain't riding at Shielfield tonight... As for having riders on the continent, have your team never used guests before? We're in the same boat as your team with the injuries we have at the minute!! And....... As for the Semi-Final, you seem rather too sure of yourself! Our boys know we have one hell of a battle on their hands, but the last time we went down that badly we had a team that struggled to win three matches at home all season... We're coming down a rather different team now!! (hopefully with a certain Jason Doyle guesting for us )

Don't think he's made a date yet, precisely for the reason that there is a chance we may make it through to the final!

Out of the field there is tonight I'd have to say the person I can see posing a real threat is Tom Brown... Good Luck to him

Around London Bridge.... not a lot of shops actually.... Shpping in Cardiff sounds better I will be wearing a tad more than my underwear though

Well... I'm packed now too although I know the only thing I will wear is the underwear I'll end up buying something new in the shops before I start hitting the voddies

Not sure you have read things properly if you think he is picking an "argument"... On to the meeting anyways... Presentation very slick... Track VERY slick which although produced good racing, could have been so much better if more water had been laid and left to soak in... Programme was very good... I'm sure people wouldn't mind paying an extra 50p or £1 if they got one as good as that...Still had one or two mistakes in it though Tai was sensational to watch as always, going to be hard to replace him around Rye when he moves in EL. Bridger was a very lucky boy and it just shows what a decent young man Tai is to basically wave him on by... Definitely gotta make sure he steps up a gear for the final...

In the past the champions have not qualified for competitions (e.g. 4TT- Berwick and Workington)... Were they given the chance to defend their titles? I don't think so I hope that criteria of "having the chance to defend because they're last years champs" gets used in the future

Me and the other half (Shadders) will be there... First time at this so looking forward to it

Can anyone give me any information about this one off track please. What was the length and did they have to remove sections of the football pitch to accomodate the track. Also, any links to photo's would be handy. Cheers

Looks like Pepe won't be at Worky then if he's agreed to our meeting In my opinion, the re-staging has a far better line up then the original... PW may not have a big star but he has got riders who are typically known for having a liking for Shielfield... Looking forward to it

No point in rolling your eyes... his point is valid... for a while we were told we would have a gp star lining up for our meeting... instead we get davy coming in... no disrespect but i think for this meeting we want to see as little of our current team as possible and more big names to liven up what has been a very disheartening season...

Hardly an abysmal side... just needs minor tweakings here and there and we'll be fine.. Way the 4's has been picked though is a complete joke and I am another one who would love to see the criteria for getting in.
