    Wolves 2017

I believe you'll find that Garry May previously went to press on this one. Wolves declined the offered date of 15th as Lindgren was not available due to riding in an unofficial meeting so Wolves wouldn't have had the guest or r/r facility. They prefered to take this week when they would only have one rider (Thorsell has obviously since declined to be involved in GP practice as a meeting reserve) and preferred to take the option of going with guests and r/r. Going to the 29th would have been a month since the Rebels last home meeting, and with a final for the winners, Australian GP and play offs to consider, all at risk from the British weather it really had to be 15th or 22nd. Wolves will get through anyway and subject to sorting out more dates and relying on the weather they could now still have Lindgren and Masters available for the final.
  6. Do you really believe that?
  7. Credit to Kyle though for slowing the race up. Not to suggest anything untoward but the last two heats have kept it interesting for BT and may put a few more on the gate for the second leg. Realistically a Robins win by 16/20 in two weeks time.
  8. Been good all afternoon with some good sunny breaks in the cloud. Bit of black cloud at present but some blue breaks around as well. What can I say? Showeres. Unpredictable. If it was 7:30 now I'd be confident but nearly four hours to go still.
  9. So that's not a comparison?
  10. Agree Skidder. Always a Kyle fan. Would just say that while Gavan and co. are slagging off certain Poole fans reactions what would have happened if such a move had been carried by Poole? Guess it would have been total acceptance, peace and tranquility. Perfect result ...... Poole get a double figure win to keep things interesting and Kyle top scores for the Robins. What's that? Jason who?
  11. Early doors still and with showers predicted it's when and where they hit. We're just over a mile from the track and it's damp from overnight showers and had one lightish shower so far but the current bun is out and it looks a nice day ..... but it's 9:20 so who knows what i's going to be like at 19:30. PS Doyle will give 100% tonight. He's still got a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Poole.

Rye House Vs Poole 28/8/17 7.30pm.

I think Rye are in the ascendancy while the Aces are going through a slippery patch. I feel that Swindon will pick Belle Vue and let Rye go to Wolverhampton with a team that can ride Monmore. Probably still fancy the Wolves over two legs but it could be close. Whoever wins that one earns the right to be 2017 runners up to the Robins.

Poole Pirates Vs Leicester Lions 21/8/17

I did say most. Lahti in heat 3 and King in 15 stood out. I don't count Hans getting it all wrong and getting passed, and Shanes was always just in front of Kyle, although that was a good race bearing in mind the relative experience of the riders concerned. I hope we do keep Shanes next year as he is a 100% trier and improving. After all it's his first year in the Premiership. Actually it everyones.

Think that may be "out of the window" now as the Play off Finals have been brought forward to the dates set for that. Most races settled by the back straight on lap one though Steve. Not much passing.
