    I find it strange that excpet for the SGP4, there seem to be no other comptitions at all for this class, Tony Rickardsson and the FIM introduced last year.

    Noy yet (Målilla was the first time and it was a test event), but there will be next season when 190cc will be allowed in youth speedway meetings.

    Svemo, Elitspeedway Sverige (ESS) and Linus Sundström launces a new project called Swedish Speedway Academy.

    This will consists of two days of track practice (with instructor I assume) with 250 cc during forenoon, 500 cc in the afternoon,
    lectures (mental preparations, diet and fitness, media relations and advice on how to acquire (sponsor) partners  on Saturday evening.
    Sundays will be 250 cc races in the forenoon and 500 cc races in the afternoon. There will be also be organized practice on some weekday evenings.
    If I understand the information correctly these events will be held on total 5 weekends with a crowned champion in the end of the season.

    Former riders such as Tony Rickardsson, Andreas Jonsson, Peter ”PK” Karlsson, Simon Gustafsson, Pontus Aspgren and Ricky Kling will be involved.
    Tv commentator Stefan Klemetz will hold lectures on media relations while Mikael Blix will talk about his career and experience as a carburetor manufacturer.

    Do they take averages from different leagues as it is not his Prem average divided by 4 to give heat average? Is it based on his Polish average? (don't know where to find them, sorry). Are the different race formulas in both leagues or the same?

    Averages for none Swedish riders are normally converted from the average in their home league. For Australian riders the home league is the British leagues.

    Keep an eye out on sociala media tomorrow at 11.00 Swedish time @racers and royals.  Smederna have announced a press conference to announce a signing.

    Also, Oliver Berntzon stays with Lejonen.

     

    ...and Vargarna signed Kevin Juhl Pedersen on a two year deal.
