Strange to see Ben Barker in this meeting as he has raced less meetings than Joe Screen had this time last year !

The PL will only take another two clubs if all the excisting members return next season, The limit is 16 which was agreed two years ago, so one or two clubs could be refused entry .

Depends on which club or league he they race in, Take N Glanz for instance who was allowed to race and win in the NL best pairs after racing 2 or 3 meetings for Plymouth but in the PL you had to race 8, No rule was voted on at the AGM, The MC introduced the 8 match rule for the first time this season to ensure that J Screen couldnt race ! Agree that Taylor Poole should get the nod rather than a new rider Stoke have just signed.

Im sure the MC will come up with a rule that wont allow Joe Screen to race in it, something like you need to have raced 20 matches for your club Lets face it they did for the pairs and the fours

Nice to see the rules being followed which the MC gave out a few weeks back , with Lambert, Bujega, Kessler, Holder and Worral all in the fours today making it 5 illegal teams taking part as per the rules of having to race 8 meetings for your club at the cut off point, Sheffield i agree should allowed as they had there team wiped out at Berwick last night but it seems to be one rule for one club and one for another

I bet Glasgow aint in it as they will continue with the rules that they used for the pairs, Thus ruling out McGowan, Screen and Grajczonek, How long will they continue to let the MC make decisions on these events when they clearly have one eye on how it will affect there team !
