    Swedish Elitserien 2020

Reckon Premier Sports think EPG means every programme (is) guesswork.
  2. Does your question relate to popularity as a spectator sport, participation sport, or both combined? From a participation point, some sports, especially motor sports would be less popular due to cost (and possibly the danger)

    Polish Extraleague 2020

The Grudziadz match live on Premier Sports, which previously disappeared from my EPG, has now gone back on it. I believe even Dave Goddard said yesterday it would not be shown live. About time Premier Sports started updating their EPG correctly.

    Polish Extraleague 2020

Both live Sunday matches on Premier have now gone from my EPG listings. Looks like delayed coverage only.
  5. Considering they are not posting tickets, seems a high price for P&P
  6. I'm not too familiar with Swedish. Does this mean no league speedway at all?
  7. Would be ironic if there are more meetings in October this year than some recent years.

    start date ?

The 2nd/3rd tier in rugby league have abandoned the season. Can not make it cost effective if no crowds allowed in until October. Can not see that speedway can pay without crowds, and October too late to start. Would also need to consider how many riders with temporary jobs will want to keep them until next March.

    start date ?

Don't believe covid testing is the relevant point. Speedway can not pay without crowds, struggling even with them. An October start would be too late for a meaningful season.

    start date ?

If you can't have crowds in stadiums until October, no chance.

Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2024

As per Premier Sports they are broadcasting Swedish speedway from. August.
  12. The post you refer to suggests only the top 50 in the world. If there was such a list, how many of them would be riding in GB. Possibly only Doyle Pedersen Lambert?

    Polish Speedway on TV

Just wish he would realize that not every viewer wants to know about every Twitter post he has received.
  14. They will have reduced income due to a lesser number of fixtures. Don't think another reduction would be too appealing.

    Polish Speedway on TV

Why is the speedway off? Is it the weather or the virus?

    Polish Speedway on TV

I expected to be watching speedway as this is what is on the EPG. Ok I know freesports are not to blame for the call off, but why not update EPG.

Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2024

Thanks. Has anything been decided about 2022?

Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2024

Can anyone confirm which channel will be showing Speedway GPs and SON next year(assuming no virus issues). Thanks
  19. Why? A lot of the top sports performers weekly income far exceeds many peoples annual income. They could easily cut costs.

    Season Ticket Holders

Just a thought but if you paid by credit card, ask the card company for your money via chargeback, or if that fails, section 75.

    Sky and Bt sports

Utility companies will not be making as much money from businesses though. Sports channels will be saving money. Presume they will not be paying for the rights to show live events, currently, and will not be incurring production costs.

    Sky and Bt sports

BT and Sky may not be under any legal obligation to cancel subscriptions for anyone under contract. However, they should remember that these contracts do not last forever, and how they treat us now could affect how much business they have in the future.

    Sky and Bt sports

Just read that Sky may let you suspend your account. Not sure how that would work though, if you wanted sky for the films, but did not want to pay for sports until live transmission can be resumed.

    Sky and Bt sports

I suspect Sky and BT will try to get out of paying for the sports they are unable to show. They may also save on production costs, camera operators commentators etc.
