    Eastbourne 2015

OK, I will ask the obvious question that no-one else has..........How can he ride in the NL when it is for Brits only and no, repeat no, none Brits allowed. If he has competed in the NZ Nationals and is a New Zealander how is he eligible? Can someone please put my question to bed pretty quick!

    Heathens 2015

You did nothing wrong. Like that when I went with Dudley & Club CH!

    Heathens 2015

If Cradley fans stopped going to away meetings there would be a few, well many, tracks a might upset as their money making night would be missing......food, drink, programmes, etc. would be well down I suspect. Also, I take being called a trouble maker as a life long Heathens fan offensive as I have been a fan since 1960 PL and never seen any problems wherever I have been!! Perhaps a few of the loonies who cannot understand a true Heathens fan should go to a footie or darts match..... They can be far worse as it shows on TV but who says anything against a football/darts fan!!!!! As I said....TROLL..................

    Heathens 2015

If ALL speedway teams had such loyal supporters as Heathens fans are (old and new), speedway would be in afar better state than it is in 2015! Troll I presume?

    Coventry Storm 2015

Sorry, Cleggy was a Heat leader, actually # 3 overall but more at Monmore Wood ( at one time ~1)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at the end of 2014.

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

Trouble is tho' the cream always attract the 'best' no matter what is done to the points limit or who the team is or what League! This is why the Heathens have always been the one's to blame for anything that happens in the NL, well since 2010. Makes a change now that there are a few others with the same ideas. That is why Cradley, Poole, Wolves, Brummies, Edinburgh, etc. to name but a few will always attract some, if not all, the best. Roll on March/April 2016 when the action begins at Perry Barr or is it Perry Wood???? Depends on your bobble hat colour I presume!

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

The Brummies have done NO different to Cradley then?

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

This is my thought exactly. It looks a good idea to have 36 points to build to in 2015 then after that (2016) the trouble will start! The points building average will have to go back to 40 in the near future to balance the books so as to speak, just like it did after the NL was formed out of the CL in about 2008.

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

Come on Greyhoundp, put the past to bed and let a calm future prevail to the best of both clubs. WITHOUT Brum we would not have Cradley. WITHOUT Cradley we not have Brum in 2015. Dan the Man did the Cinderella to Gods act with Cradley but could not do it with Brum! That should show something in my opinion. Once A Heathen Always A Heathen as the programme says..............Once A Brummie Always A Brummie as well if you are from the wrong end of the West Midlands! I bay a Brummie, I'm from the Black Country!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, that will upset a few!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

Sorry to correct you but Cradley have Ellis on board. Announced yesterday! Mind, a pretty good top two if, and I did say if, the correct Tom turns up.

    Heathens 2015

Great news, hope Ellis is going to get to the top like Dave, his uncle!! I can but hope, a direct link back to the good old days! All we need now is the important signing..................the 2015 Race Jacket design!!!!

    Nl Agm 9/12

looks as if I got the points wrong! Max 36 & Min 30! At least the rest is fine by me. Now to see what team building can be done without too many riders being put out of work by the new max figure.

    Nl Agm 9/12

Upper points limit to 42, lower at 36 Accept that Eastie, Brum and Rye are in the NL and make it a proper 3rd division! No Play Offs, the ones with the highest number of points in the last column are Champs...another Cup if you want to extend the Season for the top 4! Go back to tactical Rides with normal points, no Joker rides! KO Cup over, done and dusted no later than the last week in August. MDL & NJL be that, the true Development ground for the other 3 Leagues. Stop the gardening and returning to the pits for anything other than falls.

    Rye House 2015

As a Cradley fan, having Andrew work is way up from the training of the youngsters to NL Raiders Team then take over from Len at the helm of the Rockets is a no brainer. Len can't go on forever and I would have thought that his son was the best bet to keep the Rockets soaring into the future!

    Rye House 2015

Good job you were not around in the good old 60's & 70's. ONE Promoter with MANY teams was the name of the game. Makes this situation a bit tame in comparison!

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

I know, it only takes ONE and that can see the end of the venture just like at Romford and nearly happened at Somerset! Let us look on the bright side...Brummies & Heathens survive another year at least so let us not look for problems. I was only saying the sort of numbers who turn out for the Heathens home & away that is fact not imagination or an argument, unless you are anti Brummies at Perry Barr.
  18. berniev123

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

Not if keeps Perry Barr (Wood) open and the two teams running for the foreseeable future! Not many teams in all leagues can out crowd a Heathens home match attendance figure and many would struggle when we go away!

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

Agree about the joint Season Ticket but would it be easier to produce the respective valid Club Season Ticket and get a discount? Just an idea.

    Scunthorpe Resign

To me, Cradley will always be Cradley and I would still add in another League Title if we won the MDL riding all over on borrowed tracks in 2015............I Sponsored a Club CH Race Jacket, I have Sponsored a Heat in a programme for 4 NL Seasons, I buy a lot of memorabilia and Nigel commissions replica race jackets for me................ Cut me, I bleed Green & White and to this day I still do not like red in our race jacket....BUT......4 League Titles since 1947! Heaven knows how many KO Cups in various Leagues......Nobody on this Earth will convince me otherwise, what we have done in ALL Leagues since 1947 is wrong in any way, which my mother still talks about today and will in 2015! I hope it will continue and I, also, hope we win the KO Cup, Shield & NL in 2015 again. Good luck to the rest as it willbe a keen competition with the EL newcomers! After all, the NL will not be a Development League in 2015.....there are a few, well at least 5 teams, that will want to out Cradley, well Cradley! Discuss!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Well said!!!!!!! I have said since the news broke about Cradley and Ladbrokes the only solution for the Heathens & the Brummies was to be in the NL at Perry Bar so that BOTH come to the tapes year on year! We have a history dating back to at least 1947, when we, Cradley, were formed to feed Brum alongside Tamworth feeding them as well, so why not into the future?????? two teams co-existing at the same track.......Swedish style........1st Class.........Everybody wins!!!!!!

    Scunthorpe Resign

I must say that the '81, '83, '13 & '14 Champions bib that Nigel had made was at my request to put it on my wall with all my other Cradley stuff, I knew that about 5 were being made and Nigel was having #2 for his office. When it was commissioned we were in danger of closing and Perry Bar was just a dream at least two weeks away as the doors had been closed on Monmore by Ladbrokes when we won the KO Cup, by the way we are now in double figures for that in at least 3 Leagues since 1947. I have been a Cradley fan since the Summer of '59 when we had a Cavalcade of Speed meeting and the rest they say is history. The Heathens have 4, yes, 4 League titles in the history books since 1947 and in my world, who cares what division it is in? By the way, Belle Vue ACES are a different team to Belle Vue Colts in all history books on Speedway! I would call them BV 1 & BV 2................ Discuss!!!!!
  23. Thank heavens for Heathens HQ and Tony Mole!!!!! Two great Clubs saved from becoming history! Long may the partnership continue!

    Dan Mccormick Tribute

The man who turned Cinderella's into Demi Gods!!!!!!!!!!!! Eternally grateful to the present day for what he did at Cradley.....Once A Heathen, Always A Heathen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Cradley Heathens

The time limit you ask for got me going at St Austell at a Club CH Challenge match when I first said 'Not In My Life Time' comment! Football, Cricket, Speedway, Swimming and so on have all been destroyed by Dudley Council in the last 25 years.......what hope for the future in Dudley Borough...NIL! I really believe in what Nigel has done/built/resurrected over the last 5 NL Seasons and would not have missed this version of the Heathens for anything may I add. I hope that he does move us lock stock and barrel to Perry Bar and helps keeps the Brummies name going as well if posible. Big ask tho'. I don't think that the Planning Permission would allow two matches in one night as the max number of Heats allowed is 21 any night and knowing our luck...an early time curfew! Also, would it be fair on the Brummies to drop them from the EL to what is all but in name the 4th Tier? Still would like to cheer on the NL Heathens & NL Brummies in 2015.
