Sorry I missed you Paulco, didn't know you were there (serves me right for not being on the forum much any more I guess ) Great meeting, originally wasn't going to be there but decided on Thursday that we were and am I glad we did?! Wouldn't have missed Holder's rides around the Oak Tree Arena on Friday night for anything! Him beating Zorro (as much as I like the guy) was something I wasn't expecting to see! Great racing from everyone and a great night's entertainment all round! Nice to see all the fans from different clubs enjoying the night! Nice to see SCB, Silver Cheetah, Buzzybee, Kev H and Joanne again too, even if it was only briefly at the end!

Yep...and when I told them what the weather man said they said "Jive who?" July 8th works out perfect for us, we're at Stoke the night before so we'll make a weekend out of it anyway! Good post 21st CH. I thought the evening meeting was pretty entertaining although the afternoon one had just a bit too much falling off (was there a heat where someone didn't come unstuck? ) What about from France? At the end of the day to me it's a fix of speedway thrown into the middle of a cold dark miserable winter with a chance to get to meet up with some mates (and 21st CH ) and a social event as much as anything else

Just had a phone call from a forum member whose on their way to the meeting to say it's raining 20 miles from the track! Assuming as no-one else has posted anything that it's nothing major and still likely to go ahead! I'll go and ring them back and tell them!

Would love to be there for this one Hope we can get some other islanders to join us for the evening too!
