if a team builds within its Budget to remain in profit and viable then id hardly say it is costly mistake more like sensible Plus, despite Steve being a fine rider i was never convinced how comfortable he was on the track at Scunny, maybe his awfull early season crash had alot to do with that Good luck to him where ever he ends up,the North West id guess
-
and what makes you think that we let him go? has it ever occured that the lad didnt want to return to Scunthorpe?
-
in all fairness i would imagine that if Glasgow pay more [which is no bad thing really, thats life] im far from convinced in most cases it is much more than others,or not enough to cause problems anyway and its a bit rich Workington fans having a pop as they also have a reputaion as being strong wage payers, you dont get Kindt/Bach for peanuts thats a fact
-
And I think when you look at the riders that provided the bulk of the entertainment last year... Auty.. Allen and Garrity.. Then they are all there Also Important to put riders in who genuinely want to ride for the club.. Not club hoping mercenaries chasing dollar
-
How can one be worried when other teams haven't played there cards yet?
-
Agreed
-
Rather odd thing to say when you haven't seen the make up of other teams?
-
but this time the league is much weaker due to the points limit, and due to the availability[and mental wage demads of 4 or 5 point riders] i would say many of the teams will be built quite top heavy not a bad thing in that regard as it should pitch the youngsters against each other more times than before Time will tell
-
not true at all, seems the lad had much higher offers elsewhere,so fair play to the lad
-
Non, non, non
-
He comes in on 1.28
-
Really happy with those two..
-
Depends who he signs for.. It it's Scunny it will an lower average than if he signs for anyone else.. And if he signs for Workington and they ride on a Friday then his average will be very high That's how it works
-
Good signing for the Tigers and a good move for Kemp himself lads like him need to learn to race on Big fast tracks like Sheff if they have any thought of making it on the bigger stage in Europe good move for both
-
with young Kemp being the most valuable rider in the CL on a 2 average[and rightly so] i would say its glaringly obvious where he will end up
-
Or Scunthorpe.. You know how it works
-
Sadly now team won't be paying big money for heat leaders.. They will be paying the same big money for very average 4 to 5 pointers as they are in short supply
-
Is there such a thing as a 1.95 average?
-
You missed someone
-
Good to see your still full of shyte too
-
having seen the recent wage demands of two riders slighly over a 4 average,i think the penny has dropped that all the clowns have done by reducing the average in the CL is to increase the value of lower avaerge riders the two i saw were asking for more than Scunny`s top 3 cost last year there simply isnt enough riders in the 4 to 5 point bracket to go around-- running at 38 points will not reduce cost one bit,it just moves the cost elsewhere better to have gone with 6 rider teams and created a surplus, this would have done more to reduce cost than a lower limit
-
why would we loose Jake Allen?
-
38 point limit... Jesus.. Shocking Devaluing a product is wrong.. Always has been Massive race now to sign crap 4 and 5point riders.. Tobias Busch has just become more valuable than Ricky Wells That's me just about done with speedway sadly

But let be honest, have attendances been down this year,?? im far from convinced they have ,i know Scunny are slightly up on last year and i must say at some of the away tracks ive visited this year ive seen quite nice crowds, not record breaking by any stretch but certainly not massively down to sustain such losses as are being reported
