Off-Season Team Building
noaksey replied to TheWellBehavedWorrall's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Wolves have always said that CVS and Adams sit down and agree the team building, I presume in the event of a difference of opinion CVS has the casting vote I believe the Poole teams have always been built by Matt Ford and Middlo just manages the team he's given, I think that's on record -
Wolves v Tigers Play Off Semi Final 1st Leg 25th September @ 19:30
noaksey replied to Wolfsbane's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wolves need a very big lead from Monmore The last time we went to Owlerton in the play offs without one 61-29 -
Where would you draw the line? Plus you'd require the Independent testers to stay for the duration of each meeting just in case which clearly they'd want paying for
-
The rules surrounding demolition and planning permission are pretty complex, if there is asbestos or anything that could be considered unsafe then pp would be required
-
Yes fair comment

They don't announce what the substances are, see Ben Barker SCB statements

Anti doping is carried out by a 3rd party agency, you don't get the track Doctor or Neil Vatcher with a chemistry kit that's why it's expensive
-
So someone from the testing agency has to be at every single meeting staged, then how do you ensure that 14 riders do their sample without outside influence/tampering? Presumably they need to be held in a zone until all tests are completed etc given speedways facilities I'd imagine that's going to be very difficult.
-
There's not mandatory testing in boxing either, Matchroom are currently considering it for their fighters/shows, apparently the costs are absolutely astronomical though albeit these are blood tests not just urine. Mandatory testing is beyond the scope of speedway currently, who would pay?
-
There won't be mandatory testing of every rider at every meeting without a contract with an independent testing agent that would cost far in excess of what would be affordable for the sport Matchroom are currently considering introducing this for all of their fighters using VARDA, the rumours suggest a cost north of 20k per fight although this is bloods not just urine. Does anyone know who carries out the speedway testing currently?

If Leicester make it I believe Sheffield could use Doyle in the home leg only
