Perhaps Rosco can create team harmony where Middleditch cannot. Or maybe he kept Bridger away from press and twitter.

They should have kept him away from Twitter this morning (quotes ammended for family forum)

Terrible to chose Harris. In fact disgraceful. I would have chosen Eddie or Richardson over Harris any day of the week. Bomber has had his chance. in fact I would have chosen Nicholls over Bomber as well.

With one round to go .......

    1st Tomasz Gollob 163

    2nd Jaroslaw Hampel 131

    3rd Jason Crump 129

    4th Kenneth Bjerre 102

    5th Rune Holta 97

    6th Greg Hancock 95

    7th Chris Harris 94

    8th Chris Holder 90

3 points from 5th in the world ?, yep, they sure made a massive error picking Harris didn't they ?.

  3. To be honest, apart from the lack of roof and parking, i would honestly disagree with every part of your post

Well, I was at the millenium Stadium on Saturday, and Wembley Stadium last night, and i just hope to God they keep the GP at Cardiff.

I found the stewards at Cardiff to be much more amenable, friendly and accomodating. The ones at wembley were just jobsworths tbh !

As for the stadium itself - I much prefer Cardiff with good views from every angle. I felt at Cardiff that if you needed to get out quickly, this would be much simpler than Wembley, where it felt much more closed in. Queues for toilets were ridiculous - have never experienced toilet queues at Cardiff. And the final straw was the car park. Left Wembley stadium last night at 10.30pm and finally left the car park at 0045 !! 2 hours 15 minutes of sitting in a car park ! People were getting irate, the police came but said they couldn't do anything such as open more exits as it was "down to the Wembley Stadium management." In the end people were removing barriers themselves ! And then the jobsworth stewards were returning and putting cones back ! We went back to the building to see if we could go back in to use the toilets in the stadium but were told no ! It was just a joke. !

The roof at wembley is only partial too, and the sun was quite unbearable sitting in our seats - and I am a sun lover! Also made it impossible to see the stage with the sun in your eyes.

So, Millenium Stadium everytime for me - a much more pleasurable and relaxing environment altogether ! :approve:

    What does anyone else think?

  4. No, but that prevents the decent well-behaved majority enjoying a drink because of the behaviour of a minority. If it were a well-publicise condition of entry that no alcohol could be brought into the stadium and that anyone giving the appearance of being drunk and/or disorderly would be refused access, people would moderate their behaviour.

Andy i appreciate your view on this but i assure you, i was in the stadium from the time the gates opened and saw no evidence at all of anyone being anywhere near drunk.

Within minutes the first group of Poles arrived, (before going any further i did see many non-drunk and well behaved Polish folks there too),they each brought one of the cardboard four glass holders of lager with them. No longer than 30 minutes later they disappeared and returned fully laden again.

These 5 guys alone must have consumed a minimum of 12 pints each during the course of the night and spilled another 2 or 3 each into the bargain, and they were one of perhaps 10 or 12 groups of 4/5/6 poles on the back straight lower tier.

Now i took my Dad with me as a fathers day treat, he's 88 years old and his health is not too good but he's been a speedway fan all his life and i wanted to treat him so i made sure when i booked that i got the lower tier, back row, end of aisle seats so there was not too much walking & climbing stairs etc.

Well to cut a long story short, after moving 4 times, getting splashed with beer, not being able to walk without slipping in beer, not being able to put anything on the floor due to beer, being gestured to and sworn at and having to stand up to see anything at all as a result of beer i have to say that any kind of ban cannot come soon enough.
