Yeah this '75% guest rule' is in the 2024 rulebook under no facility, so at worst Plymouth could just get a guest up to 5.87 avg. Looking at a list of these riders from what I can see aren't already riding on Saturday; Castagna Heeps Atkins Lambert Mountain Knudsen Bailey etc.

A lot of clubs use a company called Infinity21, it requires a steady internet upload speed. Northside has nothing yet being isolated, believe it's somewhere on the openreach/Fibrus roadmap! Berwick being in a built up area (and being a football stadium) will have ADSL lines at the very worst, so could also have card payments.

Answered my own question, they've updated the schedule with the 2024 fixtures streamed, good news. https://tv.scunthorpe-speedway.com/
-
The logic is they can't really go to Berwick having not even seen the track and where the racing line is and go out in Heat 1. Gives them 2 heats to visually get an idea They will both be fine, think they would both far outscore the likes of Kemp and Etheridge at Northside

Claus should have a good opening weekend riding at Number 2, strong rider to have in that position. James said the line-up for Fri/Saturday will be; 1. Cookie 2. Vissing 3. Antti 4. Tate 5. Batchelor 6. Sam 7. Celina And then might change for the Home fixture on Sunday.

Anyone know if Scorpions TV will be streaming the meeting against the Comets on Friday?
-
Only 6 riders here today. No.7 is being announced tonight at the meet the riders event in the Waverley at 7pm.
-
Yeah I don't know who makes these rumours up! It was just a few of the guys (and girl) whizzing round the mini track
-
Would hope not the track looked great on the video posted 2 hours ago

Some smart looking Kevlars for 2024
-
Probably still tangled up in the tapes somewhere
-
He's already fixed up in Poland, Sweden and Denmark won't be in the UK i'd imagine
-
Bellego's champ average would be 6.00 yeah (4.00 in Prem)
-
Pretty sure he doesn't know and just winding a certain person up! Before Christmas, there were certainely 3 riders all of 6.0 - 6.2 average lined up, verbal agreements at different points, annoucements created (I saw them) but all give backword for various different reasons. (Longtrack, Poland Div 1, Retirement) I'd imagine that this is where the plans come unstuck. It's not easy to build a brand new side with no asset base, and they've done rather well to get exciting young riders in to create that asset base. As for the 7th rider, no idea. It's tight lipped, regular people around the club don't know either. Hopefully there is some exciting news on Saturday. The people of West Cumbria are excitied to see speedway back and it will probably show on Saturday with a big turnout for a practice session!

Peter Craven Memorial Trophy - Monday 18th March.

An EFL iFollow stream is basically one camera synced up with local BBC radio commentary. It’s not comparable coverage at all, £10 for that is basically a con -
He often hasn't raced in early season meetings in the past either, nothing new there. He gave an interview in last weeks Speedway Star about wanting a Premiership place and about his off season, i'm sure everything is fine.

Yep, absolutely chucking it down here! We have a full season ahead of us to look forward to! On a positive note, it may just mean a bigger crowd on opening day for the Border Trophy. -

Certainly not a farce, if you’ve been down there you would know that. The place is flooded, it would have been a farce had it gone ahead. One bright blue cold morning does not dry out a months worth of rain. Maybe some work to level out the affected areas like the pits gate will take place, but they can’t do anything at once. -

Yeah it’s a big shame, still get to see some action next weekend with the P&P day on Sat 23rd at 12pm -
Yep, seems to be only signed up in Denmark for Vojens, and for Vetlanda in Sweden. No Polish club. Would fit on a 6.20 average, probably already been enquired about, maybe it's a no?

Tractor Shed do the best lager to be fair, available all over Cumbria too. Will be sure to go down well with the locals Workington Town have had special beers named after current players and legends made for a good few years now, and the brewery can hardly keep up with the demand. Probably where the idea has came from. Maybe we will see a special run of 'Stoney's Steel Shoe' https://www.townshop.co.uk/product-page/buffers-boot-pilsner-lager

Kyle Howarth doing the Ben Fund meeting too, he said so himself on the Humans of Speedway podcast. Don’t think they’ve announced that yet though
-
Yeah Kyle Howarth was there riding, looked to be a lot of vans down there

Hopefully there will be online ticket sales for this one, and save people from being turned away
