    Torun Sgp 2014 (inc Sunday)

Don't blame the cameramen, they just do as they are told. What was Armando supposed to do when Nicki got in his face?

    Pirates 2014

Dumbing down the sport will only lead to it's quicker demise! As the stars depart the EL, the attendance will continue to drop. Then the sport will decline further. One solution might be to have say a 42 point limit. Teams can build above that limit but would have to pay a Luxury Tax when they do. The Luxury Tax money can then go to the so called less fortunate clubs. This enables small market clubs to compete will big market clubs.

    Polish Extraleague Play-offs

The Torun v Wroclaw meeting will not take place because of the injuries sustained last week. I know that Wroclaw forfeited the match but should they have? According to the FIM GP rule book 077.1.4, "not other meeting can be staged at the venue 7 days prior to that date and until 2 days later." With the GP being in Torun on Friday and Saturday coming, the meeting should not have been allowed anyways. Richard

    Kennett Suspended!

I think that since this is being called "Silencer-Gate", the less said the better. The vast majority of the people on this forum do not know what they are talking about and don't have a clue. Remember Silence is Golden!!
  8. I am not 100% but I think that Emil has a Polish license and passport to fall back on, the others don't.

    No Laguta At Cardiff ?

Americans do not require a visa to travel to the UK. They only need a work permit if they are working in the UK. While the Cardiff GP is in Wales, the riders are paid from Geneva therefore are not working in the UK. The big question with Laguta is when did he apply for the visa. He has had 8 months to work this out not the 9 days that the guys riding in Balakovo had last year. Out of the 9 days, 4 of them were weekends. Also just for the people who ask, Emil would be traveling here on his Polish passport.

    Ukraine

Just need to have the right paperwork. Team USA was at the borders for no more than an hour each way. Need to get in contact with Alex of the Ukrainian Federation. He was a big help to the guys who travelled. It is best to try to travel in the Ukraine during the daylight as the roads are not that good to say the least. But on the plus side the people were friendly and tried to help the best they could.

    Usa Under 21

If anyone out there has any connections with any hire companies, we are in desperate need of two vans. The company that we had made arrangements with has now pulled out. We need to get the riders and the bikes to Rivne Ukraine. We are planning to leave the UK on Thursday morning for the trip. I know that this is short notice given the Easter Bank Holidays in the UK but this was just given to us on Friday. Thanks Richard Child Team Manager USA u21 Speedway Team
