I got most of my money back after 6 months of hassle, still £10 out of pocket but that will be the cost of a black eye if ever I meet this muppet in person

And he has sold it to me, anyone know who this is?

Got a Jawa round one, no welds, bit of chrome missing you can have, no use to me so it's FOC if you can collect or meet at a track? Gary

A very good day thanks to the hard work put in by Glyn and Kevin. Kept the track as good as you could expect with that many laps and drying winds and were hard at it when we all went home with the blade to start all over again, great job guy's thanks for all your efforts, -

I thought organisation was excellent, could move the queue a bit but also important to give riders room to get bikes started and be ready to go out as soon as last group finish to keep the flow going. With 40ish riders the pits were always going to be on the busy side but other tracks that have had similar numbers have not had the space to cope as well as Coventry did so the queue was not that big a problem. Most folks seemed to get enough rides and Ron kept the pits area safe and the tea shop and spares van were a bonus. There might be a view to run 30 mins longer and have a pre determined lunch break as 4 hours stood in the middle is not that fair to volunteers, plus perhaps red flag going out on back straight and then riders have 3/4 lap to slow down and come in which allows the next group onto the track as the previous group is slowing down to speed change overs a bit? Still little things against an excellent first attempt. -

John, any idea when the next big track event is planned? Gary -
Glyn, will give you a call later when I get chance. It's the 4 bolt rear, on this engine the rockers are in bushes but the bushes have a circlip around them to retain which means the head and bridge has a grove to locate, the early ones with bushes had no retaining groove but held by a "notch" in the bush and a locating hole in the head and bridge and the bolt spacing is different. The later JRM had bearings with half washers at either end to locate and the head and bridge has 2 groves machined in to retain. So I think there are 3 styles of bridge, older one with a location hole, latest with twin groves to hold the bearings in and the one I am after which is the single groove. Gary

Glyn, you don't have any Jawa rocker bridges? Looking for one for the 90mm engine where the barrel bolts to the cases and then the head to the barrel, it's different! Thanks, Gary

Anyone got the remains of an early 90mm Jawa the one where the barrel bolts to the cases and then the head bolts on separate. I am building an old unit for practice but have lost the rocker bridge on the head so need one or a compete head whatever you have? Gary Kirtley-Paine
