  1. You mean like some are with Fisher, or Kalle, or Wolbert Or.......... Is it a crime BTW, to defend a rider who some kids decide to troll to have a go at.
  2. Nothing against anybody having an opinion, I have mine the same as you have yours. What is cranky is someone like you and Najj holding your own 'lets diss Lubos' on all threads like trolls, cos he is 'overrated' when what he has actually achieved is mocked. Points wise and achievements are facts and not opinion, but it doesn't of course fit with your position. Yes, I know Lubos, he has lived with me and my family and I was with him last night at the GP, so I know his situation a dam sight better than you and Najj and know what he has to overcome to get back to the level that you conveniently dismiss. He will not disappoint anybody for effort and caring but do I expect the 2 of you to respect that impartially, do I hell. Little boys throwing stones me thinks.
  3. Think that would be a real adult thing to do. FFS. BTW I know it will have passed you both, but Lubos will get a more appopropriate average next month, Stoke can get another big signing and hopefully Lubos will enjoy more success with regular riding. I know it is a lot for you to take in but that is how teams do things.
  4. Time you and SillyBen grew up I think.
  5. Could that have been Dakota's van.

    Buxton Sqaure One

Don't really think that many PL teams will be battering your door down to sign the youthfull Simmonds, Stephens or even Smethills. For his own career, Starke should leave and try the next level asap.

    Len Silver On Tactical Subs

Bloody hell. I remember it cos I voted against it and was sitting next to Len.

    Len Silver On Tactical Subs

Just noticed this thread. Your statement cannot be true surely as it was Len that proposed it and Ronnie Russell seconded it. I have reason to remember it.
  9. Was going to post that so there is precedent. Sure there wasn't the same protests then.
  10. Yes quite agree. Compare that with Olly Allen. Met up with him in Robert Smiths and he told me he had been told to ride on Poland on Saturday and Sunday by his Polish team. They said Michals meeting was only a friendly but Olly said he had agreed to ride and he did. Very well actually. Taking the booking meant he had to get to London for a flight to Poland at 7.00am and he was going to have a hell of a journey to make it. Yes he had a benefit himself last year but he still felt the committment to honour a booking for a fellow rider rather than give in to his Polish paymasters. Good on you Olly and you went up 200% in my and my families eyes last night. A thoroughly pleasant lad who rode well and trying to please everyone. If only all riders thought like that. And he's British.

    Aaaaaagggggghhhhhh!

Agreed and especially when all the riders wore black leathers in those days.

    Liverpool Chads

Yes, I forgot there is nearly always a heavily arched fringe over the forehead to add more style. The pigtail is held in place with very colourful 'scrunchies' (elasticated rings with cloth around them).

    Liverpool Chads

You are correct. A 'charva' in the provence of Geordieland is usually female, used to be adorned in everything Burberry but now predominently in anything pink, large earings and excess jewellery, hair drawn back severely back off the face into a ponytail, never worked, chews all the time, swears like it's normal, smokes heavy and likes a drink and is always on the mobile. BTW the bairn that she is pushing is also dressed like her and is in the best pushchair that the benefits office can provide. Thinks Tories are a waste of space.
  14. When Michal was at our Race Night last week he said Kenni Larsen was riding in it.

    Usa Alternative Speedway

Superb action in that last clip. It does need a fairly long and wide track to accomodate a 12 car start. Incidently, what is the difference between these cars and the type of car that Rosie(Jason Bunyan's girlfriend) crashed in in great style in NZ the other week. They both seemed similar in style, being sprint cars, but Rosies had a roof wing on it presumable to stop it turning over.

It was like watching a warm up lap prior to a normal race except that appeared to be the race. No thanks. Massive crowd though.

    Joe Owen

A neat smallish rider with a great style and rode mostly for Workington. Had a great admiration of Ivan and copied his black and white check on the base of his helmet, al la Ivan. A top rider in the lower league.

    Ozchamps 2010,

So why do you keep doing it. Incidently, more recent posts, and other site reports, seem to suggest your faith in Troy's maturity may be misplaced. Anyway, don't let me keep you away from your 'fish' and 'chips'.

    Ozchamps 2010,

But surely BFD said that Troy was gracious in defeat. Must have his Aussie eyes on again. WTF.
  22. Showing your age there kid. Swedes I think. Seen their names in team lineups so they can't be mugs. Not like David Kajawa.
  23. Did I not read on here a couple of days ago that the Classic returns to Newport but for just one year. I remember reading it because I wondered why only for one year when I though Newport were the rightful holders of the Classic event after the criticism of Poole earlier this year. It should only be Newport's regardless.
  24. Pleased to see our Kenni being the top non Wolves rider in the field despite having never rode it before. Although Bach wasn't higher placed, both our Danes have that knack of improving and getting more points in their later rides. It bodes well for their and our team fortunes that they take it in and do something positive that improves them as a rider. Agree with Bagpuss these formats using top up and coming star riders is great entertainment and gives you an image of a rider before he makes it big. Great meetings, pity I didn't live nearer for last nights meeting.
