Maybe it is just one of the MANY stupid things that happen in speedway but why was Ben Morley chosen over Shane Hazelden. The latter has done SO many more laps of Arlington than Ben.No disrespect to young Mr Morley but Mr Hazelden has a lot more experience of that track. It will be interesting if there is a reply from Brit .Management. -
As an old track staff, I have help to "disentangle" Jon Cook from the fence on several occasions at Arlo.On his day he was reasonable but other wise ,be afraid, be very afraid, for the fence.I think the reason Mr Dugard went from 4x2 timber and mesh panels to to ply wood panels as J.C destroyed so many panels.

What is your problem ,it is only a name .The team that is based 50% of the time at Rye is nearly the same as last year.Next year is nearly going to be the same probably.Years ago there was a team called "Southern Rovers" and there home matches were raced here there and every where. It was only a NAME to get another team into the league. But I do feel that reading a lot of R/H followers post that they are very fickle!!!!

The BSPA would rather spend money on legal fees than the youth riders in this country. They F useless. -
Cheers ,Paul,Nice to see some support for NL matches. We should of scored more than 8 from eleven rides at reserve .Both need to up their game if they are considered for a team next year where ever it is based.Personally I enjoyed the Lakeside staging more but if we can get another "club" runnning I think that NL can go FORWARD WITH MUCH SUPPORT FROM THE BSPA.If there is no support NL is F33kED.BSPA has got to put more money into NL racing.

Talking like a prat,if a rider has to borrow a bike to ride in a "challenge match " to test his fitness after "totaling" both his bikes showed commitment if he feels he is not up to it fitness wise and has not a bike of his own to ride are you going to buy him one!!!!

Thamks for the link Iris 123,great photos. It would be good if all nations trained young riders with the same engine size.In Scandinavia I believe it is mainly 80 cc as i have read on this forum, but what is the next class/Capacity? In England it is 125,250 and 500 from 14 years old.In Australia I believe it is 125,350 and 500.It would be good I feel if it was the same every wherebut i can se that running an 80cc two stroke would be cheaper than 2/350/500 fourstroke motor -

If the ref had had the sense to look at the monitor I am lead to believe Sky provide then I feel commmon sense would prevail,BUT this is the speedway hierarchy!!! -

The refereeing this year I feel has been bloody appalling at all levels of the sport. The powers that be need to TRAIN ALL referees to the same standard,By the same man .Tony Steele.Ageism has hit Mr Steele as though he was employed by the B.B.C.he is still the best man in the speedway world for the job ,employ him to train new refs in the speedway world. If any ref should be got rid of it is Jim Lawrence. He has been making MEGA,MEGA cockups for many years and is still getting away with it ,as witnessed in the SWC.He should not be allowed to ref. amateur matches in my opinion -

Well done Shane for coming 2nd. Not a lot of people gave you any chance in this meeting .You proved them wrong.See you soon matey. -
I have totally slagged off Bossman on HACKNEY v K L Thread.I do not feel that it was un kind or vicous attack as I do not think that he or many other people realise how much young riders and their families forgo to see family members hurtle round a speedway track.Even at NL level it costs Thousands of pounds per season. Family member for HACKNEY scored 21 points in the last couple of matctes,£10 a point, not difficult even for you Bossman.Van broke down en route,Thanks to Allan Mogridge, rider got to Scunthorpe!! After EARNING £ 210 plus traveling for TWO meetings, nearly £4oo was paid out for van repairs. In addition to that A bike motor "pop"which adds another £300 to the bill. Can you see now Bossman ,young Brits need support all the way.You complain about entrance fee but I would rather £12 for a NL ( did you see on youtube,Shane And Ben against Scott Ritchardson vBVcolts)classic NL racing, than EL racing. The one PL SKY match has once again shown you do not have to have GP stars to have good racing. Please support you your local NL team,BRITISH SPEEDWAY CANNOT SURVIVE WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT.!!!!!!!

BOSSMAN ,what is your problem? I wish I could attend and watch Family Compete for "HACKNEY"My family have been racing motorcycles before I was born 58 years ago.I have encouraged a family member to race on the grass,His son to progress to race for Rye House cobras 2010 ,this year HACKNEY HAWKS.Whats is your problem? 40 years ish ago I had problems at Canterbury speedway .I met a guy at a grass meeting I was racing at a few years later,he recounted the match 15 ish years later,we agreed to diagree but we are still mates after so long after the fact We raced and respected each other for many years until we both packed up racing Bikes.I was dragged kicking and screaming to watch an 11 year old RIDE Not race a 100cc bike.7 Bloody hard years later PRATS LIKE YOU complain. IF YOU KNEW HOW MUCH RIDERS FAMILIES PUT INTO TEENAGE RIDERS you would be totally gobsmacked.I AM TOTALLY TATS OFF WITH WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU who whinge and know nothing about the inside of the sport>
-
Mr Parsloes,it is only whinging on a regular basis that keeps bossman going.
