Each match used to have its own discussion thread Has the NDL season not started yet ? Or is interest non existent ?

They’ve all agreed the league should focus on development so why have a team limit at all ! Surely they can all be trusted ‘to do the right thing’ ?? Or maybe not

The fact that any fan wants to walk away should be a concern ! For every one that says they are walking away there are 10 just doing it without so much as a bye or leave. this is where the problem lies with the NDL people keep trotting out this line ‘it’s only a training league’ okay then make it free. People are expected to pay good money they would like to see a return on that investment. with regards to the riders, it’s easy to belittle the league but, they take it very seriously as they want to progress but unless the powers that be stop using it as a political football and focus on making it a league that riders can be proud to be part of then the higher league clubs will carry on having to fly riders half way round the world at great cost. end of chat

You do have a point in that if a rider is injured and a replacement found but ave limit needs tweaking why not ? They did it for Edinburgh ! That’s what I’d say !

They were probably ‘told’ to get a 3 pointer but they had to prove there wasn’t one available !! Then maybe they threatened to pull out !

They will have conceded something for this to come about ! Speedway teams rarely do anything altruistically ! Maybe Poole have been involved. Is he riding for them in the CL and they do have influence

Knowing the inner workings I’m guessing Luke’s CL place is subject to him competing in the NL team ??? but like you say it’s a few extra meetings.

When you look at how much fun the NL was Cradley Buxton Stoke Mildenhall Kent and the yearly overseas trip to Smallbrooke

Depends what you mean by suspended. I suppose but I imagine no different to turning up to Grass Track Long Track Motor cross etc . It would be interesting to see what Buster Chapman or Rob Godfrey would do under a NORA meeting

Can you explain “Getting beaten week in week out” and “ending up better riders” that statement isn’t mathematically possible (roll eyes) it’s that lack of ambition that’s got the sport into the state it’s in

The SCB have already conceded they can’t actually stop Nora Events or SCB riders on SCB tracks what they can do is withdraw an SCB licence which is what they threatened to do to Kent. As they suspended the penalty ! To stop them holding any more !!

I imagine any Scunny riders will have to pay to attend amateur meetings as a basic requirement !
