Yes it always has.

He's been around Poole for years, maybe in the Jobs for the boys Club, going on alot lately.

Don't think they need mass testing, they know exactly who they want to catch, that's why their success rate is so high.
-
Should have saved his money, the test on the night is all that matters, there is no arguing with their findings.
-
It's a professional sport, and if you can't deliver the goods, you're out, harsh but no sentiment in pro sport.
-
The testers know who they're after, normally through tip-offs, that's why their success rate is so high.

May was ok at Somerset, but the Rebels teams didn't actually need much managing, the Hancock's ran the show there, never tracked a bad Team.

Get some of those old engines back in his bikes, they were VERY quick
-
Probably going to stop racing, and become a Promoter, and show everyone how it should be done, saving British Speedway in the process.

Plymouth Vs Berwick 8/8/23 live BSN
Lord Skid replied to Cast1rn's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Always remember the IOW track, they would flood it, a few bricks showing through the surface as well, the opposition couldn't wait to get back on the ferry, the home riders could wait to race there -
Don't give the stupid one a response.

Birmingham v Glasgow 12/07/23
Lord Skid replied to Petecc's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Definitely have more sympathy for the 'clean' riders, who have either been cheated out of earnings, or had their safety put at risk by the cheats, and that's exactly what they are. -
Presumably this is under the control of the UKAD, that way there's no carpets around for these incidents to be swept under, refusing a test should carry a more severe penalty than a positive test, refusal is just a way of trying to wriggle out when caught, no sympathy whatsoever, only exception should be if the rider is blind and cannot read the banned substance list.

Sheffield v Peterborough Monday 3rd July
Lord Skid replied to 4BM's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Especially when heat 13 and 15 are the big money races, I thought the super expensive Briggo dirt deflectors were going to put an end to this sort of farce. -
Phil Morris CEO of British Speedway.
Lord Skid replied to rearingtogo's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The Louis's run a good operation, don't really need any outside assistance, great when you have like minded people running other Clubs, trouble is those people are in a very small minority, the rest make Del Boy look like Richard Branson. -
Try punishing your boss and see what happens.
-
And what exactly can he do, charge Buster with bringing the Sport into disrepute, suspend his licence? Forgot, they're the penalties for the little Conference league Clubs, trying to survive. Feel sorry for Ipswich, Wolves and Belle Vue who still try to run a proper Club.
-
You just can't beat Immodium, perhaps the BSPL and SCB should do a bulk buy, with all the bull**** flying around.
-
Unfair to blame Phil Morris, he is just his Master's puppet.

Phil Morris appointed Premiership CEO
Lord Skid replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He can have complete control, until it affects any of the top Clubs, then his power will be zero, the cartel will not relinquish power to anyone outside their inner circle. -
Having no knowledge of drug taking in speedway, isn't it under the jurisdiction of the UK Anti Doping Agency, doesn't seem right that it's policed by its own governing body.

Panthers v Tigers 29/08/22
Lord Skid replied to scoobydoo's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think the Riders should refuse to race on them, the Showground is not the nicest track to crash at, but knowingly using a dodgy tyre is plain stupid, but unfortunately there aren't enough strong Riders to make it happen. -

Now it's the weather's fault, never had any problems at the 4TT, which was in the middle of the day, just admit that the cheap tyres are rubbish, riders now have so much equipment forced on them, all of which is a very nice little earner for someone. As the old saying goes, buy cheap, buy twice, or in this case buy cheap, buy 14 times. -
Panthers v Tigers 29/08/22
Lord Skid replied to scoobydoo's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
At least it got to heat ten, nice little earner for the two Promotions, not having to pay riders for five races, especially 13 and 15 which are the big bucks races -

Unless I am reading it wrong, they should have used the tyres on their spare bikes, which according to the regs should be used in an emergency
