Play off's are done. Just make Doyle have a few more meetings like that to lower his average for next season
-
That is the only reason he is enthusiastic about the meeting as it is on BSN. The line up is getting worse every day!
-
Unbelievable that this meeting wasn't arranged for a Monday, why take the risk of going against Poland when we gave up Thursdays for rearranged meetings. No wonder with this line up that it was reduced to one meeting. Total waste of time.

Can't see Sayfutdinov guesting for anyone this season
-
Joe Thompson just been released by Scunthorpe due to numbers game
-
Maybe he called it off as Kasprzak would've been there after his performance at Foxhall. Maybe Buster didn't like it as Ipswich nicked Howarth as their guest. Giving Poland free rein of Thursday's now this will cause problems. If Ipswich had a fixture that both Doyle & Sayfutdinov would be absent do you not think that meeting would be called off.

Ipswich V Kings Lynn May 1st

It's a strange one with Joe Thompson, is he just a stop gap? as he still hasn't got team kevlars or bike covers. -
Leicester vs Ippo KoC QF 2nd Leg 17/04/23
Bash replied to iainb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Are we not allowed a guest for Riss, as RR severely weakens us with our bottom end. Can only see Leicester going through. -
As long as Robert Lambert isn't riding for Belle Vue
-
As far as I'm aware Tungate for Riss was a temporary Injury replacement, so now that Riss is fit again he comes back into the team.
-
Can't we get Robert Miskowiak to persuade his nephew Jakub to come over

Belle Vue v Ipswich Play off semi 2nd leg 3 Oct
Bash replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Even you know that he has strengthened you not weakened you. The average used is a joke as it’s from 2019. His average should be reassessed as he is a Grand Prix rider and a much better rider now. The league is a lot weaker now as well. -
Heeps was replaced by Barker before the league matches started. The league cup and pairs are not part of the league.

Belle Vue v Ipswich Play off semi 2nd leg 3 Oct

Couldn't Ipswich bring in BZ to replace Starke tonight as I'm sure his average when he rode for Birmingham isn't that high, then he could have 7 rides -
How have Ipswich broken the rules this season? They replaced Heeps with Barker before the league had started. Then replaced Riss who was a long term injury with Tungate, and Barker who was suspended for the rest of the season with Summers. All within the rules.

Belle Vue v Ipswich Play off semi 2nd leg 3 Oct

Obviously Belle Vue were running scared that Ipswich would trounce them tonight and brought a ringer in!!!! Can only see an even bigger winning margin now as Lambert is in better form than Max. -
Witches v Aces Play off Semi Final 1st leg 29/9/22
Bash replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I hope they switch Monday's meeting to Wolverhampton as us Witches fans suffered enough last night. -
Not sure I would keep Doyle to be honest. He has been good this year, but like Baldyman I can't stand him. He takes too many points from the points limit and we would end up with a similar team to this year, plus he is taking almost another 1.5 points compared to this season. Yes, they made the play-offs but lacked the bite last night. I would go with a similar team to BV, strength in depth. Definitely no Batchelor as he bottles it and gives up too many times.

I know, I was responding to someone who suggested it should be a guest who rides in both legs if average fits etc -
Witches v Aces Play off Semi Final 1st leg 29/9/22
Bash replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I hope they don't bend the rules like they did a few years ago and let Harris ride in both legs even though his average is too high to ride at Ipswich. -

That would rule Harris out then as he can't replace Fricke at Ipswich, but he can at BV due to his average. -
They could've changed tonights meeting to be against Ipswich instead of Belle Vue, so lets hope it gets rained off in the best interests of the sport!!!!
-
He definitely wasn't interested last night, free wheeling into every turn apart from the first lap of his first ride.
-
They weren't complaining when they won the superheat at home to Sheffield. When they brought in the superheat I always thought it would favour the home team. There have been 3 superheats now and this is the first time the away team has won it. Don't know why they changed it as the away team got 2 points for a draw compared to 1 for the home side.

It makes a mockery of the protected heat 8 as the other rising stars are not riding against BV rising star but against the German national champion who is at a higher level than most of the RS in the premiership. How is that helping them.
