When I was watching the GP Saturday and Holder was involved in a crash, I thought he would use it as an excuse to not turn up at Foxhall.

Updates site had King winning, and now it's been changed to Starke so fair enough -

Another baffling decision by Hawkins to put Riss in over King in last heat, but good win anyway -
Not as Baffling as putting Batchelor at 5, should've put him at 2 and Riss at 5 if he wanted Danny at 3. Can only see an away win.
-
He just isn't a team player, being the more experienced rider he should be taking the worse of the two gates, but it like in the SON he always gave Fricke the worse gate.
-
Ipswich should've got a result in heat 15 last night, but with Doyle not a team rider he totally stopped Danny's run around the outside in turn 1. If he wanted to be out wide he should've started from gate 4 but he came from the inside to totally block Danny. The trouble is both Doyle & King are not team riders. Couldn't believe Doyle's reaction to hitting the tapes either, giving the ref "the bird" when it is only his fault for hitting the tapes.

Surprise, surprise

Heeps has to go, his performances are no different to last season when he got dropped by both of his teams. If that was a wake up call he hasn't learnt from it. If changes aren't made this will be another long short season. But Hawkins will put a positive spin saying at least he won the wooden spoon.

Can't see anything other than a KL win tonight.
-
So Ipswich could've got a guest instead for Starke and used Danyon as the rising star, but again they take the cheap option and weaken the team even more. I know there is nothing riding on this meeting but they are taking the urine out of us fans.

He was like that at Ipswich against Peterborough, had the speed but shutting off half way down the straights -

Think Ipswich will do well to hit 30 with that team -

That snow won't be there long, they've only called it off as it's cold and probably won't get a good crowd. -
They said there will a PJL meeting after all the main matches so they will be at all matches supposedly, but this is British speedway, like they said there would be two RS riders in the Premiership this year but that hasn't happened.
-
Won't the number 8 be part of the junior team after the main meeting, so will be at the meetings anyway.
-
I agree with you regarding Cook & Batchelor, Cook did that too many times for us last season, don't like riders who pull off the track whilst at the back & their engines are still running. Not sure about Heeps, he has been given too many chances already.
-
It used to be if you wanted to reserve that seat for the season, if not it's free to sit in the grandstand. Unless it's changed
-
So who is out number 8, thought they would've announced that as well.
-
So why did Sheffield not retain him then. If he is such a bargain all the teams would've tried to sign him.
-
I thought at the start of last season that Peterborough had a good team and couldn't believe that people were writing them off. Hopefully our new underperforming riders from last year will up their game, but we will have to see.
-
Oh well this team will be saving me money again this season as probably won't be in the play-offs and another early season finish. Can't believe they have built a team that far off of the team limit & with two Aussies I can't stand either.
-
We need to get Adam Ellis back
-
I noticed that as they were sitting right in front of me watching the heats, Rob Lyon & Dale Alitt were both telling him what to do and when. He needs to put a learner plate on his back.

Witches v wolves 28th June, TV meeting
Bash replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Congrats to Wolves who capitalised on too many mistakes from the Witches tonight. Woeful display from the witches apart from Danny, Anders & Starke. Crump should never have ridden. Would someone remind me why we signed Cook, and again our riders ride totally the wrong lines and get passed for fun. Can someone also explain to me why we picked 2&4 in heat 15, was that down to Ritchie or the riders. Looked a poor crowd tonight even the £1000 couldn't get them there. Season over as we ain't getting anywhere near the top four with this team.
