Quite a few riders are missing in this! Again! I was considering going but such a disjointed line-up doesn’t make it look like the best of meetings.
So it’s the Thompson twins’ to lose.- 1

Hasn’t the meeting officially started at this point, with the practice being yesterday? So the reserves will take Ellis’ rides. It’s a shame either way with such a fuss being made about who should be the WC and thenEllis gets his opportunity only to get hurt. If he rides, he was bound to struggle anyway and yesterday’s fall will only put him even more off the pace.

So everything is at City Hall Lawn from 10am?

Absolutely this. You could easily argue that if a wedding takes precedence then whether the NL claims to be professional or not, there’s no justification to charge fans to attend! But regardless, Plymouth could have arranged a 3.00 rider so at least there were 4 riders races at a bare minimum.

‘Pre-arranged family gathering’ even though both fixtures have been in the fixture list all season.

Kent are entitled to build whatever team they want upto the points limit!
The problem is, that you were oblivious to when making slandering comments against the club, was that you are only allowed 2 guests and must use unattached riders thereafter. Dan Thompson & Blair are about as good a top 2 as you could find because remember this is real life and not every single rider that ‘on paper’ looks better will want to or would be able to ride. Then they had to pick 2 unattached 3.00 riders and tbf none are going to score many points, if any points at all. So what difference did it make whether they picked Shimelt, Douglas or someone else? The best you would’ve hoped for is only 1 or 2 points anyway!

Kent need a win if they want to make the play-offs, so it’s unfortunate that they’ve ended up with new injuries when they finally found an adequate replacement for Alcock!

I’m glad for him as otherwise he’d have been straddled with an average nobody would want him on.

Complin won’t be turning up for £10 a point. On a 6.82 average he might be worth a gamble for someone.

A shame about Rothery. He seemed decent.

Is Aarnio back?

They already aren’t allowed guests or R/R! Their facility has ran out and have to use unattached 3.00 men.

Good, it will be intriguing to see how he gets on.

Smart move. It’s unfortunate that Hopwood’s return to the sport didn’t work out but there’s very few riders available now on that average so to pick someone up if Atkins’ quality is impressive.

Mulford is a top signing and should reignite a poor start to the Colts’ season.

It’s in the wrong thread, but they weren’t allowed to use R/R tonight. Obviously they needed a guest at number 1 to cover Gilkes’ scoring but they had no facility to cover Atkins so needed an unattached 3.00 man.

Surprising that Shanes couldn’t touch the Thompson twins. It really shows how dominant they are at home at this level.

James Shanes signed as injury cover for Kinsley. What a high profile signing for this league!

Best wishes to young Max Perry who broke his collarbone.

Who was that?

What’s happened to Atkins?

Fair play to Scunny on getting a hard earned point. Douglas is proving to be a proper number 1, as expected, but Aarnio really seems to have turned a corner! Kennedy is looking useful too. There’s obviously still some weak links but maybe when Lambert drops to reserve he’ll start firing.

2 easy home wins between these sides this week.

Good win tonight for Mildenhall who fully took advantage of Oxford missing their top 2, which should salvage a PO place after their 2 home losses! Booking Clegg worked out well. They just need to sort the Muff problem now.
