    Leicester Track Debate

you can say moaning others will say speaking sense about the glum future of leicester speedway unless changes are made sooner than later.

    Leicester Track Debate

you clearly state you dont go for the racing so i have no idea why you would want the track changed anyway if that is the case

    Leicester Track Debate

You dont seem the brightest spark but surely if crowds are droppng as much as they are and many say its because of the lack of racing, what would you do then carry on until it is a few happy tina,s (tmw) left who dont go for the racing and leicester close and lets not forget newport, there support went down and they sadly closed down, glasgow is struggling because there crowds have taken a big dip. Many of us know it should of been done over the winter, but to save leicester speedways future i think it needs sorting now, i and many others want to see leicester do well and see great racing each week but this wont happen because of the current track shape, Leicester has massive potential as its a sporting city but people wont pay and support rubbish each week. How many people would go to a restaurant every week if the food is really crap ? Saying that I bet tmw and neb would still go as they would say its not about the food

    Leicester Track Debate

its the shape that is the main problem and yes the shale they are using is not bonding in well, i am surprised that all the problems were not sorted during the mild winter months. If i was DH i would close it down for a month and reshape it before i lose anymore hardcore fans and put the club at risk.

    Leicester Track Debate

Someone mentioned the same question a few weeks ago, I am sure that somebody will give us the answer on here, its a great cause and one i support so i await to see how much was raised.and handed over to the air ambulance by leicester speedway.

    Leicester Track Debate

very interesting reading, doesnt that make the poole track fail the rules, not been there for a long time but isnt the pit gate as you exit the bend ?I think the drains are very close to the kerbs but it would be the cheaper option to move them than lose regualr fans and many away fans from wanting to visit knowing the problems.

    Leicester Track Debate

Believe it or not i am not anti DH but i am annoyed that after last seasons shocking racing due to the track shape, he failed to correct the problem during the winter and in so putting the club at risk, some may not think so but even the hard core of fans will turn to other things sooner than later and some may think its negative but its not its a reality if the track isnt changed. mick, i find it amusing that you dont want to be in my circle however you seem you agree with me

The shape is the problem and banking would make no difference imho, its a real shame DH didnt model his new track like the one at kings lynn

    Leicester Track Debate

all reports by those who went last night said the lack of racing and crowd levels were down again, when will DH take action as it will be so sad to see leicester shut like newport due to lack of fans.
  12. you have to put abit of blame on ronnie russell, he opened the gates to jens rassmussen and peter schorak and the rest followed which limited the brits, then the end of the british league juniors, also national junior league that produced riders and also grasstrack brought in a number of riders. you only have to look at promotors over the last 20 years, they seem to rather give an unknown overseas rider a chance than a brit

    Gp In Auckland 2012

I thought it was a great GP and a superb win for greg.
  14. Leicester would be a ideal central track for the meeting, dont think they are going to start doing track changes till february if they do, so would be a good choice if newport is a no go
  15. another bore with lack of overtaking, roll on next season IF changes are made if not i wont spend another penny there.

    Kennett Suspended!

Simple solution, the home club supply 14 silencers at each meeting, riders just pick one and that will stop all possible cheating. The next thing will be engine sizes

    Kennett Suspended!

I feel i have to agree with you
  18. Alot of disgust yesterday about the insult of £5 off the conclusion of the fours, we went to watch a full meeting of the premier fours at a charge of £20, now it will cost £35 to have watched the fours plus extra travel, ect. When will speedway look after the fans. The mud was very dangerous and i hope nobody got hurt, as for the racing, again it was so boring and the restaging should be taken away from leicester as the track is not fit for speedway racing. Speedway ripping off fans again, what a surprise
  19. Doesnt he have a tattoo of the aussie flag or did i read it wrong and its the st georges flag ?
  20. Oh you mean the one who was wearing an aussie shirt cheering on the aussies in the world cup and helping them aswel.
  21. Ronnie russell & others should hang there heads in shame for bringing british speedway down this low at international level and the future of us brits having a team in 5 years looks very bleak.
  22. Well i only saw pratt myself, never saw anyone else all day and nor did the source who went walkabouts in the pits.

    Brits Absent

I think your find sky will insist on at least one brit
  24. I had my doubts it was infact the british gp at cardiff yesterday, the amount of polish flags flying really out numbered the brits by a long way. Also sources said nearly all the british promotors stayed away. Is there anywhere in britain that could live up to that stadium and be in a city center, No will it be back next year it seems doubtful as they always plug it on the day.
