There is no doubt the Jason would make a brilliant team manager/coach but one thing I think he would want would be team training/practice facilities. Someone never giving the credit he deserved by the media for his team managing/rider development skills was Jason's grandfather Neil Street & I would expect Jason to be equally as good!!

Ghosty replied to PowerfulPierre's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sorry no, Lawson will be a shock signing for --------------? so then free to take guest bookings for Glasgow! -
No lessons learned from the demise of Rye House then?
-
Sounds like Lawson & Brennan to Glasgow!

Plymouth v Birmingham Tuesday 24 August
Ghosty replied to lewy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The Crump, Pedersen gamble was not one of a few options, fact was there were no other riders available with Plymouth's late acceptance into the 2021 league. If & it's a big IF Crump is back next season on his current average watch out for some Plymouth success with Jason having a real influence on team selection & rider development. -
I will say this for the third time; fan need to protest outside Mr. Osbornes house

Plymouth v Birmingham Tuesday 24 August

Is it only me that thinks the standard of the Referee's @ Plymouth this season have been very poor? I have been involved with speedway for 55 years & yes I have ridden a bike. Maybe the better quality referees don't want to travel this far south. With the Plymouth track being so small there should be a perfectly good view of all the track from the box. Maybe they need a few training days. -
Ipswich v Wolves. Today I think
Ghosty replied to Baldyman's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I am confident Ipswich fans will see a different Jason Crump tonight, now back to something like race fitness, last weekend he did 3 meetings in 3 days, looked a lot different on the bike Tuesday night @ Plymouth. Enjoy tonight's speedway Ipswich & Wolves fans. -
Poole Pirates Vs Scunthorpe Scorpions 18th August
Ghosty replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
This is a sign of affection, riders often do it to their team mates.......... -
"financial restructuring" we all know what that means in speedway circles, reduce riders wages & withdraw any guarantees! Facts are most other cost are fixed. Any rider not agreeing to a new deal can go to Glasgow. I honestly hope the problem is resolved & Eastboune are around next season.
-
This report is inaccurate Crump was leading heat one, Ellis attempted an outside pass end of the back straight lap one & then got tangled with the fence. Fact is Jason left Adam enough room as stated by Adam himself. Most on lookers were under the impression Adam's racing head was still in Belle Vue mode!

Please read what I've said, I think Bob was pretty much top dog so with Bob no longer having a say things are just a little different!
-
Can this meeting be seen via BT sport Or Sky Sports? if so what channel........ Many thanks.
-
Fact is as long as Bob Dugard (RIP) was around Eastbourne always had a future, now but that Bob has passed on the owners of the stadium will do what's best for the "owners of the stadium".

Sounds like a good night, it won't be today but what are the ferry details & prices from mainland U.K. ? P.S. Best wishes for tonight.

Poole v Redcar. Championship. 11th August 2021
Ghosty replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think you will find anyone can submit plans for anywhere! you "just" have to pay for the plans & planning fees. -
When Plymouth were accepted into the Championship there were very few rider options, Plymouth have done well in the circumstances. Always a good nights entertainment @ the St. Boniface Arena or whatever it's now called.
-
Please note the various reports that Crump Clashed with Cook are incorrect. Sam Jensen didn't turn left forcing Crump the race leader to fall, Cook on the outside had nowhere to go, did well to lay it down but still hit Crump. So please "PRESS REPORTERS" get your facts right.

Plymouth v Poole 13/7/21 CL

Poole Pie-rats have a junior lined up, please step forward Justin Elkins! -
I've said it before the Swindon fans need to start protesting! Both with the developers & the council. The Swindon management need to tow the line. So come on you Robins fans.
-
I think Buster is also reasonable for the track? It can look superb but with the high clay content can be vey unpredictable for the riders.
-
With Peter Schroeck gone that's Sam Hagons connection with kings Lynn also gone. I would like to see the talented youngster develop his skills elsewhere.
-
On my last visit to Monmore Green only 50% of the spectator area was being used, if this is still the case surely it doesn't take a rocket scientist to sort the crowd compacity out!
-
What will 2020 have install for the Rebels fans? what league? "May"-be the return of some of the riders the fans want to see i.e. Allen, Wright, BWD & Holder.
-
Come on you Swindon fans - you have to make yourselves heard. The management are in a difficult position - they don't what to pi££ off their Landlords.
