The junior racing was also very good considering their ages, and Neil Vatcher must be congratulated for the effort he puts into this level of racing.
The Veterans was obviously just a nostalgia thing, but part of history of our sport.
I do agree with you about the endless displays between heats, they were far to long.
I wish Dick Barrie hadn't kept speaking on the centre concrete for so long at a time, thus making it a rush for Kevin Moore to read out the results and times. Just one thing mate, when giving the times, can you keep your voice raised please, as many of us around where I was, and you know where, just couldn't catch them. Just a request please, thanks buddy.
I disagree with FinalBendThree, I was bloody frozen in the latter stages of the meeting.
But hey ho, whatever our differing thoughts, the season is underway, and I hope bags of money was made. Have a good year, whoever you support. Thanks Mimmo shows how it is possible to have a different opinion without the need to be abusive

Crap meeting glad I did not go. Watched Live stream when will those in charge realise that the public do not want endless delays between heats.

For gods sake dont you think I know that . Loosen up a bit

Not a line up that captures the imagination!!!
-
Of course all the rotten promoters were Conservatives and the decent ones Labour. Such is life or life as the left wing loonies on here would like us all to believe

Possibly not entirely through their own fault management have made a balls up of it . It could still turn out ok. depending in what form Pedersen recaptures..
-
Whether Pedersen in or out at best a mediocre team. Clearly we do not know what went on behind the scenes and as Tomalin the Money Man , difficult not to conclude that Buster revenge and retribution at the core. As always stuff the fans

Buster will wreak retribution whatever, such is the DNA of Buster??IMO

For reasons unknown to us plebs they have made an almighty balls up of the whole thing. Suspect vengeance, Busterism and retribution at the core .

Judging by the way they have treated the fans not certain the bosses know what box office means

The paying public will be the arbiter.

Does anybody care anymore? Seems to me that between the two warring parties they have totally screwed the future of Panthers .

Whatever the eventual outcome , there is no possible excuse for what the paying public has been put through.

It bemuses me why some think Pedersen is the answer to our problems!! A great rider in his day , but past his best and totally untried since serious and potentially career threatening injury

The new management whether owners or promoters have lost all credibility over this massive cock up where once again fans treated with contempt

The Holder/ Batchelor incident at KL, contrasts strongly with Holders actions a few seasons previously at Belle Vue when the Poole team one of which was Holder lined up at the tapes willing to ride when the meeting was on the brink of being called off due to track conditions which did not suit Poole..

Seems typical of Speedway and the mindset of those in charge that they are content and possibly do not seem to give a stuff that they are turning what could be Panthers last season into an obscene charade

As is traditional ( one might say mandatory) with Peterborough they are making an almighty balls up of what was supposed to be a new era for Panthers. How much of the 30 pieces of silver has Buster still got?

Nicki P will be committed 24/7 because he doesn't like losing in any race.
Only just been repaired nuts and bolts and engineering skills untested

Dark and dirty games afoot seems to me. Nominally the owner than no more than a name ie no assets, . Tomalin from what we can gather has the cash which will keep Panthers going, if so two fingers to Buster. Many may think that the rest of management team are no more than Brown Noses
t think rest od managenent team are n trer. ANTHERS GOING OMALIN FROM WHAT WE CAN GATHER , stne oowner

34 minutes ago, Bald Bloke said:What does MT own in relation to Peterborough Speedway ?. Probably F all.... If MT is putting all the money in, then i can't see why Buster wouldn't mind in general (apart from Holder). If i was Buster i wouldn't have Holder in any team of mine.
Have it your own way!!! Buster Paragon of virtue and Tomlins sponsorship no more than incidental.

25 minutes ago, Flappy said:It's all on buster this
If Buster is the owner of Panthers he owns F all . Seems to me Tomlin and his crew providing the finance etc and if Buster putting the block on things as he is still nominally the owner the whole thing smacks of petty vindictiveness.
