    Speedway GP Qualifiers.

Just checked the weather & it's looks to be dry in Glasgow this evening

    Iow V Young Stars 23/07

Quick Question. I was under the Impression that NL riders with a PL CMA of 4:00 or above are not allowed to guest. So how are IoW allowed to have Boxall & Hughes in there as guests? Am I reading it wrong some where? Edit: Or does it mean not able to be a NL guest in the PL?
  3. Excuses, Excuses. There really isn't that much between the Aussies & TeamGB. Yes Hancock will score a few points & the Latvians will pinch a few points here & there. But I think it will all come down to Batchelor. If he rides like he can & people have seen the Aussies will win. Although once heat 20 has finished I really, really, really hope to see TeamGB on that rostrum & we hear God Save The Queen & take a creditable 3rd in the final. CMON TEAMGB!!!!!
  4. So why am I thick? Someone asked a question & I answered it. Ok I missed out saying that he has other commitments in Germany etc.etc. As i thought most people knew thay. That doesnt make me thick does it? Next time I won't bother, if that's ok with you? Friends ask me why I dont post much on here anymore & people like you are my answer. Well done to the Young Stars on a great win against a good team.
  5. It's a home meeting so I'm sure Robert Lambert will be there. It's the away meeting's he doesn't do.

Also the rumours lastnight was the USA, Danes & Swedes complained that Team GB had 2 jokers & not just the one.

It took us nearly hour & half to get out the field. I noticed once the stadium car park had been emptied the stewards naffed off & left the field to it. At one point I counted 6 lines trying to get out a single gate. Then after they came back & the traffic got out much easier. As to the meeting. It was rather boring from the off & there was no atmosphere at all. Have seen more life in a morgue. Also was the announcer having an affair with Tai? Coz the way he was going we only had one rider lastnight.
  8. It's easy really. Nicholls & Co riding in SEC would mean the meetings clashing with their British League commitments. Where as Tai doesn't have any clashes so would be free to ride. No brainer really.
  9. Yes but a team have until 30mins after practise to change the Riding Order. The Team cant change the rider line up. You with me?
  10. From what I can gather you are both right. Teams In Events 1&2 have to declare 14 days in advance. Then they have until 30mins after practise to change the riding Order. Not the line up. But the order of the line up. Not sure when race off/final teams have to be confirmed. But they also have till 30mins after practise to change the order & not the actual line up. Does that make sense?

    Threat To The World Cup

wouldnt it of made sense to put the Host nation into the Race Off 1st instead of the final? You could have winners of event 1&2 into final. Then in race off would be host nation, runners up from events 1&2 & the highest scoring 3rd place team from events 1&2. Then its the top 2 from the race off joins winners from events 1&2 in the final. I think that would be better IMO

    Confirmed Signings For 2011

KINGS LYNN YOUNG STARS 1. Tom Stokes - 3.00 2. Lewis Blackbird - 3.00 3. James Cockle - 7.46 4. Darren Mallett - 7.48 5. Adam Lowe - 5.62 6. Jake Knight - 4.29 7. Lewis Kerr - 5.48 8. Team Total = 36.33 Averages taken from the BSPA website. Lewis Blackbird isn't on the list but I take it he'll be the same average as Tom Stokes

Buxton V Newport 31/10 - Sunday Start Time

I was under the idea that in the NL you can only use a guest for your No1? Edit: Which was Darren Mallett Friday Night (Would of been ) & Steve?? Worrall up at Buxton.

Having just read the piece again. Todd doesn't actually go home until Thursday (4th November). So unless he's had to send his bikes back home before he actually leaves, Im not sure why he didn't ride in the NLRC.
